I was woken up with footsteps running towards the room I was in before I heard little cute mumbles.
"Dawn, mommy and daddy are still sleeping?" A little boy aka my son's voice said.
"It's morning, let's wake them up DJ. I'm getting hungry." I heard my daughter say before I looked over on the bed to see Barry still sleeping snuggled up to a pillow. I then started to sit up in the bed, moving slowly as to not wake him up. When I was at the point of sliding off the bed, I saw the door finally open to reveal my twins who just looked back at me. I winked at the two before getting up from the bed and walking over to them.
I then closed the door and whispered to the two, "How about we make some breakfast before we wake up dad?"
The two nodded happily before rushing downstairs while I went to wash up a little bit in the bathroom before joining the two downstairs. I got ingredients out for pancakes, eggs, and bacon before starting to putting the ingredients for pancakes in a bowl for the two to take turns mixing while I cooked the eggs and bacon. When I turned back to the two when I was cooking, I noticed that DJ would take charge and watch over who's turn it was being the eldest.
'Reminds me of Ollie, Thea, and I.' I thought before remembering I needed to call them to see how it's been in Star City.
When I was done cooking the eggs and bacon I set them aside before taking the pancake mix from the twins and allowing for them to set the table while I now made the pancakes. When I turned back I saw the table already set and the twins seating in their seats talking before I turned back and continued the pancake making. When I was done I went to turn off the stove when I felt arms around my waist.
"Hey sweetie." I heard Barry say from behind me before pecking my cheek.
"Hey honey." I said and turned around to give him a peck on the lips before we soon heard the twins again.
"Mommy, I'm hungry." DJ whined to me.
"Daddy, come sit next to me." Dawn whined to Barry.
We both chuckled at our kids before grabbing the plates of food and placing them on the table before sitting across each other next to our kids who sat across each other. We both helped the twins to grab food before food for ourselves.
"Daddy, how was the problem yesterday?" DJ asked Barry who went on a mission with the Justice League which was created three years ago and has been getting a lot of media attention while SHIELD the group I'm still in is still in hiding.
"Something we could handle." Barry said and the two looked excited.
"Who was there with you daddy?" Dawn asked.
"Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman." He said and I remembered when I met all of them with how surprised we were to find out we had a Superman on our earth from hearing about it from Kara.
This conversation kept going when I kept reminiscing for the past six years that happened and with all others we've met to get to having a somewhat normal life.
