Country Time

Chapter 21

Serenity's POV

-Flashback Time-

While Barry was now full time Flash, I was now working to help with the family with getting some texts here and there about the twins to how the mission for the bus metas are going. Cisco texted me just about the country bus meta that Ralph and Barry were checking out tonight while I get the twins from a daycare before focusing on being a mom.

"The two are fine. We'll text or call if we need you." Cisco texted me and I sent him a thumbs up before leaving CCPD to get the twins.

Once I did that and got home I let them play in their playpen while I cleaned some of their mess before starting dinner. While I was trying to eat and feed both twins I got a text from Barry saying they got the meta but she ended up running but they'll be after her tonight and not to stay awake. I texted back with an encouraging message and the knowing that I could possibly help tomorrow. I then cleaned dinner and prepared all three of us for bed before putting the twins to sleep and falling asleep myself.

-The Next Day-

While I couldn't help train the team today due to being called in for the little situation with the prison problem we had last week when Barry got out. I went to help interview and do some sketches if need be before I looked out to see it was getting dark before clocking out. I headed to STAR Labs knowing Iris was probably at our home taking care of the twins.

When I got to the Cortex, I was everyone already in their suits.

"I've got it." I said before going to grab my things before dressing.

When I got out, Barry was waiting for me before telling me everything. He then speed off getting Ralph before I got the address and headed there on my motorcycle before parking and getting up on a close by building.

I prepped my bow with an arrow in case before seeing Barry on the floor groaning with Hazard aka DeVoe talking to him. He then knocked out Ralph before I tried my arrows to pin him down.

"Ahhhh I forgot about you Starshooter." He said before turning around till the country gall put the machine the team made.

The machine then fell before DeVoe then talked back to the team who were talking about the failed machine. Ralph got out of his trap while the country gal tried to run from the situation before I went down to their level. Barry stood up and Ralph tried punching the wall he made before trying to assure Izzy from the problem.

While Ralph tried his best, Barry and I looked away before hearing her laugh knowing DeVoe took over her body. DeVoe then left while Barry went to pick the machine up while I patted Ralph's back.

'DeVoe now has seven powers. Shit.' I thought.
