Chapter 7

Serenity's POV 

That night when we were preparing to put the twins to bed we decided to tell them about Elongated Man, Ralph Dibny. 

-Flashback-

We were all in the Cortex while Cisco was trying to distract Gipsy's dad who was visiting. We were trying to figure out what happened on the bus to create the meta humans we were trying to find which lead to Ralph Dibny.

"Dirty cop, he was kicked off the force." Barry said. 

"For what?" Iris asked. 

"It's a long story." Joe said before one of the twins started crying. 

"I got it, you four just handle the Dibny dude." I said before walking over to the medical side of the Cortex to see DJ awake and Dawn in tear. 

"Aww my sweet little princess, shh." I cooed at her when I picked her up and bounced her while walking out back to the Cortex to see Joe and Barry gone. 

"Where did they go?" I asked Iris and Caitlin. 

"Went to go talk to Ralph Dibny." Iris said and pointed to the screen. 

"He's cute looking." Iris then said while I looked at the picture. 

"But Oliver is still hot." Caitlin said. 

"Ok I'm out. He's my brother and my babies are here." I said and started to walk back into the medical side, "Also I don't see it." 

After a few minutes, Dawn finally went back to sleep and I went back to the Cortex to see the other girls gone. I looked out the door of the Cortex to see a long limb. 

"Great." I muttered before quickly running over to where it ended to see the Dibny guy and the others trying to calm him down. 

"I don't want to know what's going on." I muttered to Iris and Joe who were just on the sidelines. He's arm then went to points of stretching before we all went to the side when he sneezed. I closed my eyes, I heard Joe puke, and I guess everyone was shocked staring at him. We all then walked away back to the Cortex while I decided to distract myself with my babies. 

DJ was still playing quietly while Dawn was starting to wake up. I went to play with them when I started to hear arguing about putting Dibny in one of the cells in case he turns out like the other two, Kilgore and Hazard. 

I walked back out to see Iris by herself, "It'll play itself out, Iris." I said and she nodded her head. 

"Hey I'm gonna head back to my place so I don't get in the way with the babies." I said. 

"You're never in the way." She said. 

"I think this is for the best to go now. Keep me updated." I said and she nodded her head. 

When we arrived home Iris caught me up with Cisco's idea which I totally blanked out at before going to talk care of the other two.

--Later that Night--

 Iris started to spam text me when I finished feeding the twins about Gypsy's dad wanting to kill Dibny and Joe's situation. I sent back a text if they needed help but she texted back that Cisco and Barry got it. After that I texted an ok before burping the twins and changing them to prepare for the night. 

'Well I'm done with today.' I thought while trying to put the twins to bed.   

-Flashback Over- 

When we finished our stories we saw the twins falling asleep before tucking them and kissing their foreheads but leaving. 

"Looking back you were basically mama bear." Barry said. 

"Some days I was mama bear and others I was helping." I stated before he nodded his head and we headed to bed.
