Chapter 19

Serenity's POV
Last night after the team day, we told the kids about Barry's trial and about his first week in prison. They never cared when I talked about what happened out of prison with Ralph having to step up as a hero when Cisco, Caitlin, and I were forced as hostages for Prank and younger Trickster.
When we woke up this morning, we thought we'd get less questions but it seemed to spark more if that was possible. As we settled down the twins kept talking about becoming heroes in the future which Barry and I were used to.
We then got into the car to head to CCPD and STAR Labs for the kids. We dropped them off telling them to be good to Cisco and Caitlin because Iris was at work and told them that Wally couldn't come due to a mission before we headed to work. Barry walked me like usual to my office before he had a meeting with his department.
The day went as normal with small thieves coming in or innocent people coming in to talk with a police then to one of the artists like me. When it was end of the day for me, I went ahead and waited in front of Barry's office.
"Ready?" He asked and I nodded my head. We walked to the car hand in hand before going on our way.
"I'm surprised that the two didn't call to give updates." I said.
"Well the two went back to normal after we told them about my trial." He said and I nodded my head while we parked and head inside to go downstairs.
Once we got there, the elevators opened to reveal an annoyed Cisco.
"Get those demons." He said and I chuckled before Barry ran to catch them.
"What they do this time?" I asked.
"Ran around like normal but after lunch kept on asking about how Barry helped after being convicted." He said.
"New questions are gonna start happening. Great!" I sarcastically said.
"Just get to Barry being out quickly then they'll be back to normal." Caitlin who just appeared said and I nodded my head to see Barry with the kids under his arms.
I then told him what the two started asking before he looked down at the two while I thanked Cisco and Caitlin. We then went on our way and got home so I could start dinner and that's when the questions happened once more.
"We won't tell you a story tonight if you keep on asking those questions." Barry scolded them before the two became quiet then moved this time about getting a pet.
'It'll be a long evening.' I thought
