After breakfast, we got the kids ready for kindergarten before dropping them off and heading off to CCPD. Barry had to work while I was just gonna stop by to check on some of the new artists before heading to STAR Labs.
The update with STAR Labs was it getting more known with figuring out more about meta-humans and the help from when the Justice League had started. When I arrived, the new staff already knew me and let me pass, before I headed down to the Cortex where everything stayed normal.
"What's up?" I asked Cisco who was just watching over some police scans we were able to get around the city.
"Nothing, it's so boring now." He whined out.
"Stop it, you're starting to sound like DJ." I said, "At least that means that villains are scared of what they could face."
Cisco didn't say anything back but nodded before mumbling some project he needed to work on.
"Good conversation." I said before walking over to my outfit and grabbed my bow and some arrows to do some training.
"Cisco I'm gonna go and work on some target practice." I said.
"I'm gonna join you later." He said and I nodded my head before going to the practice room to start.
I put down some arrows to start off some target practice. I did the standardized aim and shot practice before heading to one of the computers to do some moving target practice. We were able to get upgrades to our training through the help of Batman.
In the middle of training, Cisco came in telling me that Barry called to say that he was picking up the kids and meeting us over here right at lunch.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"12:30." He said and I nodded my head before we both cleaned up. He handed me the arrows he picked up before we went back to the Cortex to see Barry looking after DJ and Dawn who were walking around our suits.
"Hey babe." I said and kissed his cheek before moving over to where the twins were to set up my bow and arrows so they couldn't reach them.
"Mommy, when will you teach us how to use a bow?" Dawn asked pulling at the end of my dress.
"When you're older" I said before lifting her up with DJ right in front of us running to Barry.
"Daddy can you tell us about the one time you got stuck in the speed force?" DJ asked him while Barry and I looked at him confused at how he knew.
"Yeah daddy will you." Dawn now said clapping her hands. Letting Barry and I now look at the twins in confusion on how they knew because we never brought that memory up.
"DJ, Dawn, who told you about that?" Barry asked the two.
"Uncle Cisco." Dawn said while pointing at Cisco and we looked at him for a moment.
"We'll tell you later." I said looking at the two and the both nodded.
"Now let's go eat. I can get us some Big Belly Burger." Barry said and grabbed DJ's hand before we all walked outside to the car to eat in the park and not in STAR Labs.
'How do we tell them about that time?' I thought to myself the entire time during lunch.
