Chapter 26

Serenity's POV
After two more stories of when we tried getting a new meta and about the confrontation with Marlize and DeVoe with Gypsy, we were now nearing the end of telling the twins about Black Amunet helping us.
-Flashback-
While we were looking for Snake Eye, Amunet and Caitlin came in to tell us they found where he was at.
"Underground. That's why the shards weren't registering on the satellite." Iris said while holding onto DJ and Dawn was in the playpen.
"Alright why don't the three of us go get your shards?" Barry asked, "Then we'll be armed and ready to take out DeVoe's satellites."
"I'm coming too, I'll get the cold gun." Caitlin said.
"Same here." I said before grabbing my arrow bag and uniform before going ahead to get ready while the group kept talking to Amunet. Once I got back into the Cortex, I saw Amunet leave.
"Can you please watch the twins, Iris?" I asked while grabbing my bow.
"That's why I'm here." She said.
"Thank you." I said before we all went to the location.
When we confronted Norvock, Flash and Amunet were first before I could join of Amunet used her shards to try and kill him. When Norvock made a move, I went to prep an arrow before Barry went ahead to knock him down. While Norvock was down, Barry went to go check on him before Norvock sent some sort of gas Barry.
"Flash!!" I yelled out before making myself known. While I went to go check on him Amunet confronted Norvock before Iris told us how to get rid of the venom from the gas. I let him do his thing while I tried to make sure Amunet didn't kill him.
"Don't forget about our agreement Amunet, no killing." I said before Caitlin and Barry joined us back.
Caitlin was able to get Amunet back to a lighter side before removing Norvock's mask and cuffs.
"But the snake has gotta go." She said before sending one of her shards at the snake cutting it from his eye. While Norvock ran, the snake on the floor kept wiggling before I sent an arrow to stop it.
"Sorry but that's just so freaky." I said.
-Flashback Ends-
"Wait how can she be good?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah bad guys stay at being bad." DJ said.
"While in this situation you just have to want to do good." Barry said.
"And if your life is on the line you might want to help secure that you won't die." I added before Barry looked at me.
"What? I'm not wrong." I surrendered, "But now it's time for you two to go to sleep."
"Goodnight my speedsters." Barry said while we tucked one twin each and kissed both on their foreheads. We both then walked out of their room before going to our own to get ready for sleep.
"I love you so much." Barry said to me before spooning me while we both got in bed.
"I love you too. Are you ready to end this huge villain?" I asked and I felt a little nod.
"Do we tell the twins about what happened after?" He asked and I shrugged.
"If we need to we will but for right now to keep the future safe I don't think so." I said before turning around and kissing him.
'I need to tell him the good news I found out today before it's too late.' I thought.
