Friends With Aaliyah Mendes

Hanging out Tonight

I'm siting next to Aaliyah right now in our last class , social studies We are waiting for our teacher to tell every group what place they got. 

After waiting for 10 mins he started to tell the places that everyone got.  Aaliayh and I were the 3rd to last group that got told our places. All of sudden he started to say " Skylar and Aaliyah you guys have Toronto to research ."

While I was waiting for the bus outside I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned around and saw it was Aaliyah.

" Hey!" 

She smiled  back, " Hey I wondering if you want to hang out tonight and maybe work on our project?  I said back, " sure that would be great! We saw the school bus and got in and talked the whole way back to our houses.

 We both get off at the same bus sto sine we only livedown the street from each other. She waved bye to me and started to walk to her house.  

When I got back to my house I asked my mom if Aaliyah could come over, she said that was fine, so I texted Aaliyah to come over. I ran over to my bedroom window, looked outside and I saw Aaliayh walking up the drive away. 

I opened the door and said, " Hello" to her. She said back " hi Sky." Then my mom walked into the room and she said, " Hello Aaliyah it's nice to meet you" Aaliyah smiled and said " hello Mrs." then she stopped in the middle of her sentence and whispered to me, " whats your last name?" I started to laugh but I did not instead I whispered " Lynch." Aaliyah turned back to my mom and continued her sentence, " Mrs. lynch." after  she said I quickly said to her, " Hey Aaliyah want to go to my room right now" she nodded and waved to my mom while we were walking up the stairs. 

We walked into my room and she turned to me and looked very shocked and exclaimed, " Sky! we almost have the same room. Well with the colors" I smiled and said, " really? Well I like your sense of color." She laughed. I was on my bed looking at my phone, and Aaliyah was looking  at my cd's since I asked her if she wanted to play one. All of sudden she walked over to me with 2 cds in her hand ( Handwritten and Illuminate) and she said, " I guess you really like Shawn Mendes huh?"

 I laughed and said back to her, " yeah I like him and he's really amazing at singing and playing the guitar but i'm not crazy in love with him. What about you? After I asked her that question she looked very nervous and she said, " yeah I really like "Mercy" but i'm not a hug fan just like you" then I added, "my mom thought I was  a huge fan just because I loved to dance to his music so that's why I have them." Aaliyah added "that makes sense." After us talking for about a hour we decided to start working on our projects, so she took the computer and I took my Ipad. Aaliyah researched Torotno's flag and history and I searched up the history about the CN Tower and nicknames for Toronto/ Canada. 

A hour and half later I heard a knock at mine door, so I said " come in" and my mom came in and asked both Aaliyah and i if pizza was okay for dinner and what kind?  we both agreed on cheese. After my mom came in we decide to stop working on the project and we started to have some fun! I turned on Pandora and we started to mess round, dance and we were singing in my room ( the music that came on- Havana, Stay, Sorry, Body Like a Back Road and Mercy" around 7:30pm the pizza got here and we ran down stairs.
