- The next day-

I went over to Aaliyah's early afternoon to study for a english test we have tomorrow.

Aaliyah and I were sitting at the kitchen table, talking when we heard, " Shawn who is she?" Then I saw Shawn, both his mom and dad coming down the stairs.

" It's nobody!" Shawn said back.

" Who are you talking about?" Aaliyah asked.

Mrs. Mendes came over to us, and showed us her phone. It was an article about Shawn.

We read it, it said,

" Ooh Shawnie!" Aaliyah laughed at him.

" Shawn has a new girlfriend." I said to him, he just looked at me.

" Shawn who is this lady?" His dad asked.

" No one important, just a friend, and we took it another step." Shawn did not mean, I know it was just a cover up.

" Well are we going to meet her at a family dinner?" Karen asked.

He answered quickly, " No. No. I think she has a boyfriend. Plus we arent hanging out anymore."

" What a shame." Manny said.

" Yeha, You two look cute together." Aaliyah said.

Shawn just laughed.

" Anways we are going to get going, text me or dad if you need anything. We'll see you guys in a couple hours. I love you Shawn and Aaliyah. Skylar if I dont see you before you leave have a goodnight sweetie." Karen said before her and manny left.

" Bye mom and dad. Love you." Aaliyah and Shawn said at the same time."

" Bye Mrs. and Mr. Mendes."

" Do you want to go upstairs to study?" Aaliyah asked

I looked at Shawn then smiled, he smiled back, " yeah."

Then we went to her room to study.

After a couple hours of just studying Aaliyah and I both got bored and mad.

" Im tired of this!" Aaliyah closed her book.

" Hey look on the brght side, we have two more chapaters." I said.

She smiled, " yeah. Can we just take a break?"

" Yeha, I need one too."
" great! I need to talk to you." She came closer to me.

" I talked to Gray today..." I started to freak out, " what did he say?
" well he wants to have dinner with me, so we can talk.." she added, " but he wants to have a friend there... a double date so it's just not him and I."

" Aaliyah I don't have a boyfriend... or anything."
" can you get one? Like one of your hockey friends or lacrosse or anyone by Friday?"

I don't want to go on a double date because I can't bring Shawn, but's it's Aaliyah.

" yeah I'll find Someone."
She hugged me, " thank you, thank you, thank you!"
I laughed.
" hey I'm going to make some tea. You want some?" She walked by her door.
" yes please."
" can you ask Shawn if he wants some?"
I nodded my head, and walked by his room.

" come in!" I hear Shawn yelled."

I peaked my head in.
He smiled when he saw me.
" hey Aaliyah wants to know if you want some tea?"
" sure."
I yelled down, " yeah Shawn wants some!"

Then I went back to his room and quietly shut his door.
" hey cutie." I walked over to him.
" hello beautiful."
I giggled and kissed him.
" you know kissing a girl in my childhood bedroom with my door closed makes me feel like I'm 16 again."
I just rolled my eyes.
