- 8 months later-

I stayed in San Francisco with my dad, but still to this day I think about Canada and the Mendes household.

Tyler is my dad's girlfriend son.

" I'm sorry, hold on." I say before checking my phone.

" Hello Sky, long time no talk. I know that we haven't talk since my last night in San Francisco... and I know this is such last minute but I'm playing my first ever stadium show at the Roger Center in Toronto, tomorrow night and I would love it if you could come. I get if you can't...if you have other plans, but a plane leaves at 12:00am- and it's ready for you, at your nearest airport- I can't wait to see you.

" Sky? Skylar?" I hear a voice.
" umm yea? Sorry Tyler. What were you saying?"
" I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me tomorrow night?" He asks.
" tomorrow? I'm so sorry Tyler. You have been the nicest person ever for helping me adjust to San Francisco, but I have to go right now. I have to go back home and see someone I really care about."

- the next night-

" How you feeling Toronto!" Shawn screams into the mic. The crowd cheers.

"Me too! Not just because I have the most amazing crowed here tonight, but someone I really care about is here supporting me tonight. Skylar Aaliyah Lynch, will you please join me up here?"

I felt a presence behind me. It was one of Shawn's bodyguards, I followed him.

Next thing I'm on stage with Shawn in front of 55,000 people.

"This is Skylar. She was the girl that I was dating back like almost a year ago. My mom and dad asked me why I didn't have a girlfriend, and it killed me, because I did have one, the sweetest one ever and I couldn't tell them, or my sister, Aaliyah. Also Aaliyah i'm very sorry, but for the longest time Sky made me the happiest person on this Earth. I love her, still to this day and I don't think I will ever stop." He says the last part, looking into my eyes.

" I wrote this song for her.... tell me when your ready I'm waiting...."

After Shawn sings, the whole crowed cheers and he takes my hand.

" Sky, eight months when we said our goodbyes I realized that I never got a goodbye kiss."

I laugh, " and that's why I love you." He puts one hand on my waist and the other my jaw, I put my hands on his chest, and like that we kiss, in front of everyone.

Shawn whispers, " now that was worth eight months waiting."
I laugh and we rub our noises together, then look at the crowed.
