I woke up kinda late this morning.😒

I got tired of it! I slammed my phone down and it shut up. After realizing what I just did I hopped out of bed and ran over to my phone to see if it was okay. It was alright ( thank god)
I walked down stairs, and saw my mom on cleaning the kitchen.
I grabbed her attention when I walked down stairs, " hey sweetie. Good morning I just made some eggs and cut up some fresh fruit."

I smiled and grabbed some. She added, " you look tired, and you don't usually wake up this late."
I laughed, " I know."
After breakfast I went on my phone for a little then went to go find a outfit. I torn up my whole closet trying to find something either blue and or white.

While I was still looking for a outfit my mother came in, " Skylar Aaliyah Lynch! What did you do your room?"
I was in my dresser pulling out stuff, " I can't find a outfit for tonight's game mom."
She went over to me and hugged me, " it's okay, just calm down. First of all never wear a t-shirt since it will be too cold, and never wear both jeans and a sweat shirt because then you will get to hot."

After my mom looking around my room for a minute, she walked over to my bed and grabbed something and showed me, " how about this?"
She showed me a dark blue sweat shirt and a pair of black leggings. I thanked her, took the outfit and ran into the bathroom.

I took a shower, got dressed and straighten my hair. I had a hour before Aaliyah was coming, so I sat downstairs watching tv for a little. A while later my mom came down stairs,
" hey, so I have a work dinner to go to tonight and I was wondering who Else is going to the game tonight with you and Aaliyah?"
I was on my phone, " her brother, Shawn and his friend."
She seemed surprised, " isn't her brother Shawn Mendes?"
" yeah. Why?"
She laughed, " you love Shawn Mendes."
I corrected her, " maybe, but I love his music even more, and being Aaliyah's friend tops all of that. She's an amazing friend."
" I know sweetie." She gave me a kissed and walked away.

Awhile later Aaliyah came. Before she could knock the door, I ran outside, " hey Aaliyah!" She paused, " I thought you had something to wear tonight."
I pointed to my shirt, " I do."
" I meant I thought you had a Toronto maple leafs sweatshirt?"
" no I don't, so i thought this is the next best thing."
She explained that since we had some extra time and how Shawn's has about 3 Toronto maple leafs jerseys, I could borrow one of them, and Shawn said that was fine too.

We got there 15 mins early, so we found our seats and waited for Shawn and Matt to go get drinks ( Soda)
The remainder time, everyone just talked to each other. The lights went off, blue lights came on and the announcer shouted into the mic, " welcome ladies, gentlemen and leaf Nation! Let the game begin!" Then he yelled out every player name.

They played the Chicago Blackhawks and the game was very close. The leafs won. The score was 4:3. The game ended around 10. Everyone was taking about getting on the ice, so I asked Aaliyah what everyone was talking about.
She said, " after each game the audience gets to go on the ice for a short amount of time before leaving."
Before we got on the ice, Aaliyah wanted a picture, so Shawn asked a young girl to snap a picture of all of us. After that Matt took Aaliyah's phone and Shawn took mine and they snapped a pic of us together.

Everyone was on the ice and Matt said he had to go to the bathroom. Aaliyah overhear him and she had to go too, so they went to the bathroom and Shawn and I were left on the ice.

I went to go spin and I fell on my butt in front of Shawn!😧 Shawn saw he and slid over to me, " hey Skylar are you okay?"
He helped me up.
I laughed, " yeah. Thanks"
He grew a smile, " no problem. Hey I know Aaliyah asking you out of nowhere to go to this game was a little weird, but I had a extra ticket and I knew if you came she would have fun."
While I was listening to him, I could not help notice his eyes sparking, " no thank You Shawn, tonight was amazing, and Aaliyah is an awesome friend. And I want you to know that I like her for her not you."
He ran his hand through his hair, " I know, and thank you."
I added, " and thank you so much for letting me borrow your sweatshirt, and I promise it will get back to you as soon as it can, probably tomorrow tho."
He laughed and bit his lip, " no problem, and if you want it, you can keep it. I mean I have too many😂 and it looks way better on you then me."
I was dazzled, " thank you Shawn, that means a lot."
After talking Aaliyah and Matt came back, and we all left. Thy dropped me home and I went straight to bed.
