"WHAT A SHOW," Liam yelled, walking backstage with Harry. Harry nodded. They had just finished their concert in Australia, and now, they were just about to head out and make their way to London for the next show. Liam and Harry made their way to the Tour Bus, where they found Niall sitting on the couch playing on his phone.

"Hey, Ni," said Liam.

"Whats up, lads."

"Have you seen Louis anywhere?"

"Yeah, he's in the back room, sleeping. He's had a rough time at the moment. It is Johannah's birthday tomorrow," Niall said.

The bus fell silent at the sound of Niall saying Louis' mums name. It was a rough time for all of them to have those memories of her in their minds. They knew Louis would be hurting bad today and especially tomorrow. They didn't want him to be all upset about him losing his mother but they could understand that times were going to be tough for the Donny chap.

"We gotta keep him happy," Liam spoke.

Harry smiled as he motioned his eyes towards the back room. The door was shut. Harry took a deep breath before walking back to the room and opening the door. There, he saw Louis, laying on the bed, half asleep, half awake. He slowly moved his head over from his pillow to glance at Harry, who stood in the doorway. Harry could sense that something was troubling Louis. He just didn't seem like himself. He noticed it all day but now, it just got worse. The bus shook for a few moments as Paul started it up, ready to go. Harry closed the door behind him as he entered the room and looked down at Louis.

"You alright, mate?" Asked Harry.

Louis took a breathe before answering. His cheeks damp from crying.

"This is painful," said Louis. "This is really really painful."

Harry tried his best to not make things worse in the matter for Louis. He knew he was upset. He just needed a bit of cheering up. But what was he to do?

"You know, Louis....." Harry began. "Your mum was one hell of an advice giver. Whenever I didn't know what to do about something, she would always be there and just tell me to not give up. She gave all of us boys the hope we needed to be strong as a band."

Louis grinned slightly but still sad. Harry tried to find a way to make Louis laugh.

"Remember....HAHAHA.....remember when we told her that you slept with Susan Boyle?"

That made Louis burst out in laughter. He always had a hard time forgetting that memory.

"Haha, yeah she was PISSED!" Louis laughed.

Niall and Liam heard them laughing from the other end of the bus. Liam looked at Niall.

"What's going on in there?" Liam whispered to Niall.

Niall just shrugged, sipping a bottle of water.

"Ohh remember when she brought home that huge cutout of me?" Louis said.

"Haha yeah. You were freaked out by it all the time."

Louis loved those memories. He cherished them a lot. They were very important to him and no one else could have imagined how much they meant to him. Suddenly, the door to the back room opened and in stepped Liam and Niall. They saw Harry sitting on the edge of the bed next to Louis, giggling and having a laugh.

"What's going on in here?" Asked Liam.

Harry and Louis just stared at each other, laughing.

"Just having a chat about some memories," Harry answered.

Then all of a sudden, it's like a thunder cloud came down and poured on Louis. A burst of sadness filled his lungs. He felt like something was sucking the light out of him. All the happy things just left his body and he was left, cold, and alone.

"Hey, Tommo. You okay?" Niall asked. Louis didn't say a single word. He just sat there, his head down, and he was playing with his fingers. He tried to smile but it was just too hard for him to at that moment. He just was too upset about how things were going to be tomorrow for his mums birthday. How was he going to get through it? He wasn't sure he even wanted to get through it. He knew he had to be strong, considering the fact that his whole family was gonna be there. His little brother and sisters were all going to attend. He couldn't make them feel as bad as he felt. He had to be the strong one there. He had to help support his siblings at the time of need.

They stayed with Louis in the back room for a few hours before heading to the front and messing about in their bunks. They still had a long drive ahead of them so they decided to all try and get as much rest as possible. And they did. Well, except Louis. He was having some trouble getting to sleep. He kept thinking about Tomorrow. His brain was growing and growing with bad thoughts that something would go wrong. But he knew he had to be strong. For the sake of his family. "It's just a birthday party," he thought to himself. "What could possibly go wrong?"
