The party was a lot of fun. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. Everyone except Louis. He was really struggling. He didn't do much anyway. He just sat at the back, all lonely and miserable. As Louis watched his siblings have the time of their lives, dancing and chatting with friends, he felt more and more uneasy. At the same time, he was confused. "How could they all be so happy when mums dead?" He thought. He really didn't understand how they weren't simply breaking down in tears that Johannah couldn't be there to blow out her candles and make a wish.
Just then, Louis' birth father saw him sitting in the corner alone. He made his way over to him. Troy sat down next to Louis. "Not feeling the friendly vibes, son?" He said to him. Louis kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to even look at his own father. Troy peered over at the people dancing and caught Eleanor's eye. He scoffed. "Ugh, you're still dating her? You already dated her once, Louis. And it didn't work out the first time. What makes you think it's different now?" Louis just ignored him the best he could.
"You know, your mum would be surprised I showed up here, huh? Look, I know it's hard to see it, Louis, but I'll always be there for you. Just like I was for her."
Louis laughed. He turned his head to him, anger and sadness filled his eyes. "You weren't there for her. You never were," Louis said.
"Louis you need to understand something..." he was saying but Louis cut him off.
"UNDERSTAND? I UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING ACTUALLY! YOU WERE NEVER THERE FOR US! NOT FOR ANY OF OUR BIRTHDAYS, NOT CHRISTMAS, NOT EVEN WHEN MUM WAS SICK! SHE NEEDED YOU AND YOU WEREN'T THERE!" Louis screamed. The party fell silent. Everyone stared at the two of them. Harry and the other boys came running in to them.
"Louis, you okay?" Asked Harry.
Troy kept trying to talk to Louis. "LOUIS, I SACRIFICED SO MUCH FOR THIS FAMILY AND I PRETTY MUCH GAVE UP EVERYTHING SO YOU AND YOUR MUM COULD BE HAPPY! YOU'RE MESSING ALL THAT UP!""ME? MESSING IT UP? NO, YOU ARE! I'VE HEARD MUM CRY HERSELF TO SLEEP ALL THE TIME BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU TOOK AWAY EVERYTHING THIS FAMILY EVER HAD! THIS WAS YOUR FAULT!" Louis' voice grew grittier and grittier by the second. "Louis," said Harry, in a calming voice. "Louis, let's just go back to the bus and try and think things out a bit."
"NO! DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO HARRY! YOUR NO BOSS!"
"Louis, we're just trying to help you, mate," said Niall. "Just come with me and we'll straighten things out. We'll discuss this."
"NIALL, SHUT UP! YOUR STARTING TO SOUND LIKE MY DAD!"
"LOUIS WILLIAM TOMLINSON! ALL I'M DOING IS HELPING YOU!" Troy said.
"NO YOU'RE NOT! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!" Just then, Louis marched out of the building. Everyone inside stood there, quiet. Lottie came up to Troy. Her eyes filled with tears. "Thanks a lot, Dad." Then, she too, walked out. As did Eleanor, and the boys.
When they all got outside the venue, they noticed Louis wasn't anywhere to be seen. They all looked around, scoping areas for the Doncaster boy but no luck. Lottie came off the bus, her worried face stroke the boys and Eleanor. "He's not on the bus," she said. Eleanor started to panic. Where could he have gone? The boys scoured around, looking for any clues as to where he was hiding. Liam took out his phone. "Here, I'll call him." He dialed Louis' number. Straight to voicemail. "Hello, this is Louis Tomlinson, leave a message...."
"He's not answering," Liam said."Keep trying," Harry commanded.
Liam tried again. Still went to voicemail right away. Something was definitely going on. They continued to look around for Louis. No sign of him anywhere. "Where has he gone?" They questioned.
