The next few days turned weeks of brutal pain for many people to face not only alone but with no sense of hope in their hearts. A small man was sat on a red leather cushion with his head pondering about. The feelings he had been longing to seek out just couldn't find their way to the surface properly. His head lowered as a softened voice came about quite near his presence.

".....Have you been talking and expressing everything okay?" The voice questioned.

The man could barely speak — his mind was far off trapped in the uncomfortable world of sorrow he was engulfed in as he sat there in the bitter war between himself.

"Have you been telling your friends how you've been feeling?"

He gazed up for a moment as his eyes stared into hers. The lady with the notepad and pencil perfectly positioned in her hands as her glasses tilted slightly. She was beautiful. He was afraid of telling her everything with every small detail.

"T-They all know I've been a-avoiding things lately". He muffled.

"Things like what?" She asked him.

He stood in silence as he drew his breath for a second or two. Water poured as he could not bear the misery. With a sudden change, the room turned dark as a flash of experience came into his mind. He looked towards the wall as he stumbled himself into an illusion of his own mistakes. He feared he was the monster. A monster no one could ever learn to love. He fashioned himself weak of everything. He just wasn't good enough.

A light flashed and he was back at his house. He was on his bed, alone and cold. He could hear noise from downstairs. As he regained his thoughts, he slipped on some Toms and made his way down the creaking stairs. There, a man with hair flowing and his tattoos clearly showing. Green eyes burning through his skin.

"About Time you've woken up. A nap usually doesn't mean you sleep longer than at least an hour or so".

Louis rubbed his head as he reached the last step. A tasty smell drove in his nostrils as he licked his lips.

"W-What are you doing here, H?" Asked Louis.

"Brought some McDonalds for you, Eleanor and your dad as well. They both went out to go collect Liam and Niall. Those two ran off. Hahaha".

Tomlinson giggled a little before taking a seat on the sofa, his head hurting. Harry sat down beside him, knowing his friend was struggling.

"You been feeling alright, Louis?"

He paused.

I-I-I don't know".

"Hey, it's okay. We're going to get you through this". Said Harry with a grin of hope. "Depression is just an illusion".

Triggered by the very word of it, Louis scoffed and leaned his head forward, wanting to sink to the floor.

"We're all going to the new pool at that hotel we always go to today. Come along with us, it'll be fun".

"No, I don't really fancy it, mate.".

"Fancy or not, you're going with us. We miss you. The real you. We all just want to see you happy again".

"No cameras". Demanded Louis.

"We promise, no cameras".

Louis nodded his head slowly but surely as he held back tears as good as he could. Half an hour later, they were all at the hotel diving and having fun. They had the pool completely to themselves for an hour. With their feet squishing on the marble floors, Liam and Harry jumped in the water and began fighting. Eleanor sat on the chair watching it all go on. Liam was on top of Niall, swinging him round til he'd fall off. Harry tried jumping on them both.

"You're not comin in?" Niall questioned to Eleanor.

She sighed glaring at her boyfriend who was sitting on the far right, his arms folded. She bit her lip wanting to say something.

"If he's not, I'm not".

Niall shrugged as he just carried on with continuous laughter messing around with Harry and Liam. Eleanor couldn't take her eyes off Louis. He just looked so upset on his own. He seemed lost. As he gazed away at his own problems, his mind focused on a small metal object mounted on the wall of the building. It's frame was still. Louis jolted up in anger, racing towards it and climbing on the chairs, grabbing at it fiercely.

"I TOLD YOU!! I TOLD THEM I DIDN'T WANT THIS!!" Shouted Louis from the top of his lungs.

"Louis, I-It's okay....LOUIS, WAIT!"

His fingers clutched ahold of the camera as he tried taking it down, cutting his hand. He yelped loudly as he fell to the ground almost cracking his skull. Eleanor and the boys raced for him with a sudden shock. Louis grabbing his hand and wailing made it more intense than it was now. People looked in at the sight happening at the pool. Liam fell behind Louis with his arms wrapped around.

"Shhh, Louis. Lemme see. It's okay".

As he continued to weep and stutter, Niall noticed fans crowding around the lobby, peering through the glass at them. Phones were recording the whole thing.

Liam tried taking Louis' hand but the broken-hearted boy shoved them away, sitting down in pain with beads of blood running down his arm. Eleanor panicked. Harry took off his jacket, placing it onto Louis' wound carefully.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" He screamed.

Liam forced his hand, nearly pinning Louis in place so Harry could help him. Tomlinson cried out horrifically as they all stood in a circle around him, shielding his face from the fans and public.

"TAKE THE CAMERAS DOWN! LIAM TAKE THEM DOWN!"

"Louis, they're not even on. Mate, it's okay".

"I WANT THEM GONE! GET ME OUTTA HERE PLEASE!"

Eleanor placed her hand on his shoulder, calming him down with her soft sweet tone.

"Honey, it's alright. Shh, I promise".

His head sank to her arms as he cried. Niall looked behind him to see Troy standing behind the door with the fans. His face filled with devastation as he took a moment to regroup.

More and more he wailed out, causing hotel employees to race to the pool areas to examine what happened.

"We need to get Tommo out of here," Niall said. "And we need to do it now".
