"So since you act like you can't see my text I figured I would call you." Marcus said.

I rolled my eyes. "I didn't answer your text because I'm doing something. As much as I would love to ignore your text messages, I can't seem to." I said lowly.

"Bitches kiss they crush and they just get bold." He snapped back.

"Marcus, I'm doing something. What can I help you with?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to come out with me and Dre tonight. I guess not by the sound of your voice."

"I'm sorry. I can't today. Maybe another time." I said making sure the glasses me and Keith would be drinking out of were clean.

"You sure?"

"Yes. I'm positive. I gotta go."

Without thinking twice I hung up the phone and began to set up our little date in the living room.

I was really nervous about this whole thing because I didn't want to seem clingy or make it seem like I wasn't interested.

Keith seems like a really nice guy and I don't want to ruin this by any chance.

The doorbell had rang and anxiety had crept up.

"Coming." I said as I put some soft music on.

I headed to the door and smiled as I opened it.

"Hey, you!" He smiled.

"Hey. You look comfortable." I said jokingly.

He chuckled. "Thanks."

"Come in." I moved aside and let him in.

I was nervous because even though i had just cleaned up and had been cleaning all day, I was afraid he would see something I didn't.

"Wow. Your place is radiant." He said looking around.

"Thanks."

We walked in the living room and he saw that I had picked out Juice to watch while we ate.

I guess that's one of his favorite movies cause he kept smiling like I had told him I wanted to snatch his soul.

"Juice? Girl what you know about Juice?"

I giggled. "Juice is actually my favorite movie."

"Really? That's one of my favorites too. That's actually impressive cause any girl I've dated never even heard of that movie."

"Pac is one of my favorite rappers so I-"

"Marry me." He said.

I laughed and sat on the couch next to him.

"You're a funny guy." I said.

"You're a pretty lady."

I stopped laughing and my mouth just hung open.

I cleared my throat and looked down.

"Umm... about the chin situation, I'm sorry I-"

"You gone apologize for that for the rest of your life?" He chuckled. "It's cool."

I sighed and played with my fingers some more.
