"Girl, you are just glowing over there." Marcus said smiling.
"I feel so good!" I said throwing my head back.
"I bet you Keith is somewhere smiling from ear to ear." Kaylan said painting her nails.
"Hell yeah." I said smiling.
"It's been a whole year since you two have been dating and I swear I have never seen him so happy. I promise he doesn't brag about anything else but you. We can't even have a conversation without him bringing you up." Kaylan said.
"That's what happens when you're in love." I said smiling.
"You got him pussy whipped." Marcus said making KK laugh.
"Whatever. You two need to find a love like me. You'll be so happy." I said getting up from the floor and walking to the kitchen. "Marcus, maybe if you would stop running all your men away you would know what I'm talking about."
"Mind your business. I got me a new boo, I just ain't said nothing about it yet cause I want it to be a surprise when we pop out. You know." He said stacking up the deck of cards that were on the floor.
"You're getting thick, sis." Kk said.
"That's happy weight."

"All I'm saying is that you have been eating a lot lately."
"He's right. Keith even said your appetite has picked up lately." Kk said.
"None of you know me. I've always had an appetite, okay? Lately I've just been stressed."
"What the hell?" Marcus said standing up off the floor. "First of all, I don't appreciate how you T'd up on us out of nowhere. We was just saying that you've been eating lately." He said.
"Yeah. I mean it's true. The way you've been eating y'all gone go bankrupt just off of groceries."
Out of nowhere these tears came down streaming down my face.
"Is it really that bad?" I asked holding on to my chest.
"Holy shit!" Kaylan whispered. "Marcus, come here."
They walked to the side and talked for a minute then walked back over to me.
"Let's go to Walmart, sis. Our favorite store." He said.

I slammed the door in his face.
