"So, where you from?" Nicole asked me.

"Um. I'm from Atlanta."

"And you're all the way out here for Keith?"

"Well, I actually came up here for a shopping trip. I just overheard about him and I decided to give a try. I hear a lot of stuff about that man. He's like Bill Gates. Steve Jobs."

She chuckled. "Yeah. He is a big deal. He's more like Christian Grey."

We stood on the corner waiting for our right of way to walk across the street.

"You're a pretty confident girl. For you to be young as hell and want to try Keith. Where did you get the heart from?"

I looked at her. "I'm the only girl out of my siblings and I've always had to fight for whatever I wanted. I had to grow up with tough skin. I don't back down from anything. Otherwise, I would've walked out of the office crying when he told me that he would think about it."

She smiled.

"True badass. I like you." She said.

"Let's hope we both work on that." I mumbled.

She smirked at me and we continued to walk.

"This is your hotel. I'll walk you up." Nicole said getting out of the taxi with me.

As we walked up to my hotel room, we made small talk and laughed here and there. The whole time we were walking, all eyes were on us and it was like she was a superstar.

Teenage girls squealed and some older women mugged her.

Of course the men whistled and looked at her behind biting their lips and winking at her.

But she paid that no attention.

"Here you are." She said as we reached my room.

"Thanks." I smiled. "You must be a big deal, too. All the eyes that were stuck on you."

She waved me off. "Working next to Keith is like being a Kardashian. I've made a few appearances with him and there was a rumor going around about us dating. Until it blew over we pretended to go out for a year or two. And then one candidate didn't feel comfortable about the situation so we lied and said I cheated on him and he "broke up" with me and for a whole year after that, his fans hated me. The women slandered me so hard. But I know that it was fake so I don't pay it any attention." She shrugged.

"Interesting." I said. "Well thank you for walking me to my room."

"No problem, girl. But I do want your number so that we can go shopping one day. I can show you all the hottest spots."

I gave her my phone and watched as she called her phone and then gave it back to me.

"Get some sleep, it's really late. I don't want you up all night." She winked and walked away.

I walked in my room and jumped on my bed.

I had a long ass day. My plan was just to go to Keith and go get a few things from malls and come back.
