Episode 1: Give Me You

I let the wind blow my long, sandy brown hair blow in the wind. With my White Chanel clutch by my side and my pearly white teeth biting down on my bright red lips. I took a few breaths before walking up the 30 steps that led into the building.

As I roamed through the front lobby, I noticed that there was a lot of people. I couldn't figure out where the desk was, so I kept walking and looking around. Luckily there was a lady nice enough to ask me if I needed help.

"Hi, I'm Nicole. Do you need help?"

I smiled. "Yes, I do. I'm here to see Mr. Powers."

"Oh, Follow me." 

I followed her as she walked happily to the elevator. 

"It's always busy around here around this time. Do you have an appointment?"

I looked at her with a confused look.

"Appointment?" I asked.

"Yeah. In order to see Mr. Powers, you have to set an appointment. If you don't have one I can vouch for you." She said smiling.

"But on the website, it said that I needed a folder with my information. I didn't really see anything about appointment." I said.

The elevator door opened and she grabbed my hand.

"Don't worry. You probably have one set up and you're just nervous about being here today, it's fine. Come on."

I followed her lead and she took me to his office.

"Mr. Powers, I think you have an appointment that's here."

"You think? Nicki-"

"I know, Mr. Powers. But this is her first time here it seems. I'm not sure but, the only way you'll find out is if you see her." She smiled.

He sighed. "What would I do without you?"

"I know." She said then came back out in the hall.

"Okay, you can go in," She said. "I'm the only secretary that gets away with stuff like this."

I smiled. "Thank you."

"No problem. Good luck." She said.

I walked in the room and before I could sit down, he walked over to me with his hand out.

"I'm Keith Powers, you are?" 

I shook his hand. "Tiani  Oakes."
