Chapter 7: The Secret Hideout

Wendy

My breathing stopped and my body froze as I stared up into dark blue eyes. He was probably the most beautiful boy I had ever seen with his midnight black hair to those blue eyes that seemed to peer into my very soul. I never expected a pirate to be so young or handsome. I was expecting a greasy old guy with an evil glint in his eyes. I guess this pirate had the evil glint thing down but I was very wrong about the rest of him.

I opened my mouth to speak but quickly closed it and glanced to the ground. He tilted my chin up and examined my face, "Who are you?" He asked his voice like silk.

I gulped and stuttered an answer. "Wendy... Wendy Darling." He let go of my chin and rested his hands on the post on either side of my head blocking any way of escape.

"Wendy, hmm, such a boring name for a beautiful girl like you. I'm Scorpios... Scorpios Hook." I scowled at him and pushed his chest to let me free. He stumbled back seeing no immediate threat but boy was he about to get it. He only chuckled and took a step closer to me almost closing the space between us.

"So you're Scorpios. I've heard a lot about you." That was a lie. Peter didn't really tell me much about him. I just needed to distract him from coming any closer.

"I'm sure you have. If you haven't noticed already I'm kind of the only thing people talk about around here." He said smirking. Arrogance. Who would have guessed?

"And why is that?" I challenged. He looked down to the floor then up at me again. "Reasons." He said simply.

"What reasons?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"That my dear, is none of your business." He stated, his eyes turning cold. In a swift yet graceful move he grabbed his sword and pointed it to my throat. "Now tell me little bird, who are you working for?" I smirked at him then slowly slid my dagger out of my pocket without him noticing.

"That Hook," I pointed the dagger towards his gut, "is none of your business." He raised an eyebrow then glanced down towards my dagger. He tensed up then looked back to me in astonishment.

Our gazes locked and a devilish grin spread over my lips. "You're not the only thing people will talk about." I said flipping my hair slightly. His eyebrows rose clearly not expecting any of this.

"Is that a challenge?" He asked. Before I could come up with a witty response a man with greasy black hair came up behind Scorpios. he paused when he saw me and was ready to pull out some nasty weapon to protect the captain but Hook turned him down as if he has everything under control.

"What is it?" Hook snapped.

"Hook... the children... they're gone!" He flinched out and I decided it was my time to go. So I stomped on Scorpios' foot causing him to yell in pain, then I made a break for it.

"Blasted girl! Well what are you doing just standing there you ungrateful toad?! Go after her!" I heard him yell to the man, but it was too late. I stepped over the ledge then jumped off the ship.

Scorpios

She had an odd effect on me. A warm feeling at the pit of my stomach and I hated it. Those blue eyes... that beautiful smile. She was here and now she's gone. I didn't like her. I didn't like her one bit. She was obnoxious and clever and some how she had outwitted the master himself but I would never admit to that out loud.

She literally jumped off the ship. "Cap'n no splash..." Smee sayed pointing towards the water. He pushed his glasses up his big red nose then stared nervously at the water.
