East Rochester

"Why are we taking her with us, she tried to kill both Calvin and me!" Kelly Shouted glaring at Sage over the backseat, who barely payed any attention to her while moving over enough to make space so Henry could get in and close the trunk door behind them.

     "What do you mean she tried to kill you?" Jane asked, hand moving to her waist. Reaching out Kurt quickly snags her wrist before she could draw her gun, she looked at him ready to protest but the look on his face quelled the words on her lips.

    "We good back there Henry?" Kurt asked "Yeah we are" looking at the girl Kurt asked "what's your name?" Kelly opens her mouth at Kurt's question to speak, but a look from Kurt kept her quiet. "My name is Sage kobayashi" "where are you from miss kuba-ka clearing his throat after two mispronunciation, umm Sage can I call you Sage?"

"Sure I'm not hang up on tradition." "Ok then, where are you from?" "I don't think now's the time for and interrogation but if you must know Japan, and I'll save you the time asking why I'm here, my uncle lives here, he's also a member of the police force, so can we get going now before more of those things comes back."

     "Who's you're uncle?" Kurt asked "John Foster" she answered, Kurt's mouth dropped open in surprise, "y-your John's niece?" Jane Asked looking pointedly at Sage, "Yes" Sage said "then where is he? Kurt asked shaking off his surprise, and why did you try to hurt Kelly and Calvin?" Watching Sage's face close Kurt looked for any signs that she maybe lying.

      "I don't know where he is, and that boy tried to bash my head in all I did was defend myself."

      "What, your lying!" Kelly shout "hi kell's calm down I did attack her, Calvin said laying a hand on Kelly's shoulder, he turned to face Sage, but that's only because I thought you were one of those things coming out of the bushes."

       She gave him a nonchalant shrug. "Oh yeah, then how about her locking us in with that thing" Calvin looked at Kelly with her arms folded glare directed at him and sighed, he replied she ran through the door first Kelly it's on a LCN and closes automatically, granted that the back door isn't used as much as the front door, the LCN there is much newer so closes faster, I felt the resistance when I was slamming it shut on those things."

       "Kurt we should get a move on, Mathew said looking out the window, it looks like we're about to get company soon"

        Looking in his mirrors and through his window, Kurt could see movement, it was getting closer too. "Go down the street on your left Kurt the road up ahead is blocked by a accident from earlier." Henry said

        He wasn't paying much attention earlier, but looking out his windshield now Kurt could see the accident, it still looked like there was enough space he could drive through and go around the pick up trucks. "It looks like I have some space Henry I could..." "Kurt listen to me just take the street on your left," seeing the panicking look in Henry's eyes, he steps on the gas and took a left.

        He figures he could asked questions later right now he had his son the most important thing to him, so the town was on fire there was nothing he could do about that, he hated to admit it even if it was only to himself, but Jane was right he could see that they needed to get out of here and get help could they even make it out of here with what they had, the clawing feeling in his gut said no, he saw what these things were capable of there was no way they could get out of here without some arsenal, shit they needed to get to the station.
