Using her phone as a flashlight, Sage walked through the hallway, unlike the room before there wasn't any socket light, she had seen one in the room she had left those two in, the owner probably never thought it necessary to put one into the hallway, Sage stopped has she came up to a group of hallways.
In front was a waiting area with chairs in two rows a total of six, to her right was an hallway, and her left another with a closed door at the end, mentally debating which way to go first, she took a few moments, then chose to go left first since the door was there.
The door opens revealing a small office stocked with filing cabinets, and paper all over a small desk with its lamp still on, they must have forgotten to turn the lamp off, closing the door Sage turned and headed for the right hallway, the smell of chemicals made its way to her, before the light of her phone hit the steel doors.
Pushing the door foreword, And walking in she shines her light around the room, noting the stainless steel lockers lining the back wall, several other equipments including four autopsy tables, two of which were occupied and covered with sheets.
Well I guess this answers the question as to where I am, Sage thought. With a sigh she turns and leave the room going back the way she came, noise from the reception area caught her attention it was faint but still there.
Stepping into the reception area she could see that it was much bigger than she thought it was earlier, before she had only glanced in saw the chairs and dismissed the room, while moving to other areas that seemed more interesting.
Even with the soft glow of the socket light she still couldn't see half of the room, shining her phone light across the room it reflected off the glass doors for the exit, not far from the door were three large size glass windows, there were a few chairs with there backs to the windows, two of them were face down in broken glass there metal frame badly twisted, with the window behind them completely shattered.
A faint crunching sound came from the back of the room, so faint it could have easily been missed if not for the complete silence of the room. Shining her light towards the back of the room, reveled an open hallway, moving closer she could see the signs for both bathrooms, which were facing each other, female on the right and male on the left, the sound she was hearing was coming from the male bathroom, it was much more clearer now that she was closer.
Taking several steps backwards Sage moved to leave the room. There wasn't really any need to see what was making the noise, especially after seeing the state of the door. The door was torn off its hinges and broken in half, whatever did that must be one of those spider things and could still be in there, and the reason behind the noise.
Moving quickly Sage headed back the way she came, shit if those things are in this place its so not safe, I've got to get out of here before that one finishes whatever its doing or more comes through that window, but where do I go now it's not like I know anywhere around here, if it wasn't all the commotion earlier I wouldn't even have made it here so just what the hell was she supposed to do now. Caught up in her own thoughts she didn't see the girl until she almost ran smack into her.
Braking at the last second she stopped herself, as the the girl jumped backwards releasing a high pitch squeal Reacting with well trained reflexes, she reaches foreword grabbing the girl by the back of the neck and clamping a hand over her mouth to silence her.
"Hi Kelly you ok? What's going on, did you bump into something? You probably should have waited for me, so I could turn the phone light on, I guess in your anger you forgot since you lost yours on our way over here."
For fuck's sake these two would be the death of me. Sage thought
A loud crash, coming from the reception area told Sage the thing now new they were there, letting the girl go she push her out of her way while bringing her phone light up, the glare of the light blinding the boy standing a few feet ahead of her, rushing past him Sage hurried towards the back door.
She needed to get out as fast has she could, she didn't know these two and from the way they act with such little self preservation she didn't want to. Luck had kept them alive and it was about to run out, the best good they would serve is a meal for that thing so she could escape.
