New York is a total mess, and that's putting it nicely, Enzo staggers reaching out a bloody hand resting it against the side of a building, is face was twisted with pain, he's been running for several hours now, in and out of alleyways and buildings he had no idea where the young miss went, and before he could find out this happened, Enzo looks down at the wound on is side, the make shift bandage he made has been soaked through with is blood, he needed to find somewhere safe enough so he could check it.

He lifts is head and release a weary sigh, the last member of his team died four minutes ago, while they were running he was lucky enough to have escaped. Now he was the last one left, he hoped wherever the young miss went she was safe there, a loud explosion two blocks down shook him off his feet, Enzo fell onto his butt has the shock waves from the explosion vibrates the ground beneath him. The sound of a roar followed, if not for the explosion causing concussive temporary damage to his ears that sound surely would've let them bleed.

Enzo climbs back to his feet swaying slightly, the dust of the explosion quickly spreads out within the surroundings with the sounds of battle, this sound was now familiar to him with the frequent screams of people all throughout the city for the past several hours. Enzo moves has quickly has he can trying to put has much distance between him and the fight taking place two blocks away.

   Unbeknownst to Enzo in the ally behind him the cover of a city sewer slowly slid to the side as what lurks below finally makes its way to the surface.

   Miles outside New York City

"I'll be the first to say I'm all for going elsewhere clearly, New York don't look much better from where we're running from". Said Henry, they all could see the burning light's in the distance sending bellows of smoke into the darkness of the night sky, "going there wasn't in my intention, going anywhere crowded especially a city in something that we can now call a catastrophe, would be down right stupid of us". Kurt replied.

  "So any suggestions?" He asked looking at the rear view mirror at those in the back seat, with Henry sticking is head through the back window that opens with a view into the truck bed with the others sitting in side.

  "I don't know about you guys but I need to know if my family is ok, and knowing my sister, she's probably taking our parents to our grandparents house so I'm looking to head in that direction." Mitch said glancing at Kurt.

  Kurt looks at him then the others, "what about you guys?" He asked Mathew who looks at Sally, then back at him, my brother's out of the country and Sally's family..." he trailed of speaking when Sally's body tensed up in his arms, he hated that he might have just remind her of what had happened to her family, his unfinished words with the haunted look on her face, left a heavy silence. "Well The lady of my life the queen of my heart, my beautiful shop sorry I had to leave you so soon," with a sigh of regret he looks at Mitch who wasn't the only one now, looking at him as if he had lost his mind "In that town I lost my shop my home." So I'm all in for helping you find your sister and parents Mitch." Henry spoke reaching a hand through the window to lay on Mitch's shoulder giving him a light squeeze. Kurt didn't know how to react to Henry's outburst but one glance at Sally showed it was enough to divert attention from the thought of her family, and that's good enough for him. Seeing no one else had anything to say, He spoke "In that case we should make a plan."

   As they talk amongst each other coming up with a plan to make it to Mitch's grandparents home. Sage tuned them all out she didn't care about their plans she had no intention of hanging around with this group, she needed to find Enzo but one look in the distance would have even the most craziest person changing their mind, aliens aside this wasn't her country sure she's been to a few cities here New York at least twice, but they were for jobs getting things done that Grandpa wanted done, she's never being site seeing, so she doesn't know the city and certainly wouldn't be able to find him or any of his team, granted he or any of them were still alive.

  She hates to admit it but without help she wouldn't stand a chance, more like she needs a map maybe several or at least a good one she could rely on. Until then, she couldn't help but sigh at the thought she'll be stuck with these people a bit longer. "Hi are you ok" the voice next to her brought her out of her pondering.

She looks up seeing Calvin staring at her concern on his face, she scrunch her face in confusion, seeing that he explained "I heard you sighed, you sounded a bit down." "What's it to you?" "Well nothing really just trying to be nice, I mean a lot happened earlier so." "So what?" "Why are you talking to her Calvin?" Calvin looks at Kelly "what do you mean why, isn't it obvious if we're going to be traveling together then shouldn't we get to know each other."

"That's assuming theirs actually something I wish to know about either of you." Calvin smiles at Sage's words while the color raise in Kelly's cheeks from her temper, before they could start arguing again he said "it's dangerous to have that sickle against your leg like that" she didn't bother to reply to him a light in the distance no make that lights had her attention, especially since they were on the opposite side of the highway. They had change directions, no longer heading to New York City, but they hadn't gotten off the highway so they were still driving on the wrong side of the highway, however these vehicles were the same they were behind them.

It seems she were the first person to see them none of the others did "you should at least cover the blade or you could..." she tuned him out not caring for anything he had to say, since he was only trying to make conversation. "Hi Henry" she called he was making suggestions when she called out to him. Turning he looks at her, Sage pointed her thumb over her shoulder while saying "we've got a lot of company coming our way, they seem to be gaining ground pretty fast."

At her words every one's attention was drawn to the road behind them.
