The plane ride was horrible. Too much turbulence, too much distance between me and the ground. I'm just glad I was alive when the plane landed.

After we got our luggage situated and gathered, I followed Aunt Matilda to her private limo. I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty cool. However, it was too much just to go to a house.

"Alaina, it's not just a house! It's a- a vision!" Aunt Matilda shrilled.

I didn't want to talk back, so I nodded and stayed silent for the rest of the drive.

It was when we pulled up to the building that I realized why we needed the limo. Her penthouse was huge.. And I mean HUGE. She has three floors. The first floor has a dining room, living room, gym, and kitchen. The second floor has all of the bedrooms. Her third floor has been dedicated to all things "spa" and relaxation.

" This is-"

"Amazing? Told ya kiddo," aunt Matilda said.

"Isn't this a bit much? Just for you I mean." I said.

"Oh no. It's how we live here in the city. Now, go to your room and unpack."

I went to my room.. I'm not gonna lie. My room was as big as my barn ( and that was a huge barn). I had a lot of room to walk around, a king sized bed, a balcony, an a bathroom with a big tub and shower.

'This is so unnecessary,' I thought.

I unpacked after I took a tour of my new room. I sighed as my aunt called me down for dinner. On the inside, I prayed to see an actual piece of meat during my stay.

"Ah dear. Help me set the table," aunt Matilda said.

"I'm starved. What are we having?" I asked. Please be steak ,please be steak.

" Greek salad," Aunt Matilda spoke as she placed the food on the table.

" Is this the side dish?" I asked.

" No this is THE dish," Aunt Matilda replied as if I was stupid.

It was a silent meal after that. I went up to my room, but I couldn't sleep due to the sound of traffic on the ground. I can't wait to get out of here.
