"How was it? Was it romantic? did he kiss you?" Francis asked without giving me a time to answer.
"Give the girl a chance to speak Francis," Sean said interrupting her interview.
She apologized, an I told my story.
" It really was romantic. We went on a picnic, and we learned so much about each other. Then, after the date, he walked me to my door and kissed my hand goodnight," I sighed. " It was just perfect."
"That's good to hear," Martin said behind me.
The PA system in the mail room blared with m aunt's voice.
" Alaina, I need you to come do something for me. So stop sitting are chatting about whatever."
"Duty calls,". Said walking towards the elevator.
When I got to my dear aunt's room, her office was decorated with business paper. It was exhausting just to look at.
" Yes?" I asked.
" Ah good you're here. I need you to file this. My assistants a out sick so I had to ask you," she said.
"That's ok," I said grabbing the bucket load of paperwork.
It took me two hours just to get those papers separated and another hour just to file them!
" I'm not working here when I get older... Not even now," I muttered.
"Yeah, it's really tough to work here," Sean said.
" Mhm," I said taking a deep breath.
" Since you're done you can come relax back in the mail room," he suggested.
I smiled gratefully for the offer and hung out with Martin, Francis, and Sean until the day was done.
