Those two days passed too quickly. I dreaded ever going to the Bradley's house. If only there was something I could do to change my parents' minds. Sadly, there wasn't.
"Alaina! Your aunt's here!" Mom screamed from downstairs.
I quickly finished packing small things into my suitcase and walked downstairs as slowly as I could.
"Come on Alaina, dear, we will be late for our flight." Aunt Matilda said.
Aunt Matilda was the person every little girl wanted to be (if they didn't grow up as a tomboy). She was a 35-year- old woman who took fashion in a firm grip. Don't get me wrong, she's a nice lady. However, she doesn't, and openly chooses not to, understand the ways of the country folks. In fact, she's so dedicated to the city, that she works at a fashion magazine company, lives in a nice, expensive penthouse, and absolutely owns no pets.
Yep, gotta love auntie.
"Coming I'm sorry Aunt Matilda," I said.
" We are just gonna have to get you into timely shape aren't we?" Aunt Matilda said.
I ignored that last comment and followed my aunt to her nice SUV. There was one thing I forgot to mention.. I HATE planes..
