My father looked at me, "Y/N, it's confirmed. You will be marrying Kang Daniel."
I sighed and nodded in agreement. As much as I'm against it, I can't go against my parents. I've tried to do it before, but it has never worked. They will always have their way no matter what.
Oh well, it can't be that bad. At least now I have an excuse to leave Korea and explore a foreign country.
Besides, I'm kinda curious about this Daniel guy, what is he like? Is he handsome? Or cute like Jihoon?
"So, Jihoon....how did you know about Kang Daniel? I'm curious to know," My mother asked.
"Well....the name "Euigeon" reminded me of a friend back in highschool. We were in the same classes and basketball team, making us close. But in the middle of senior year, he suddenly moved to America to take over his family business. I had no idea what business it was, all he told me was that he was going to be the heir of that company. Before leaving, he changed his name to Kang Daniel for identity purposes. That's pretty much it. I never saw him again after that," Jihoon explained.
"That's wonderful, boy. Since you know Daniel personally, you can help us get in contact with him. Do you still have his contact information by any chance?" My father asked.
"Yes sir, I have Daniel's contact. I also have his parents' numbers as well. Here you go," Jihoon gave the numbers to my parents.
"Wonderful. Thank you for your help, Jihoon. You as well, Mr. Yang. Now if you'll excuse us, we'll go and greet the other guests," My parents said and walked off. Uncle left as well, leaving me alone with Jihoon.
The atmosphere turned awkward again as Jihoon and I were both too shy to say anything. I looked at him and he looked back at me with a shy smile. I blushed and looked at the floor once again, avoiding his eyes.
God, where is Seonho when I need him?!

Just then, I felt someone wrap their arm around my shoulder, pulling me into a headlock. Nooo!! My beautiful hair is ruined! I looked up to see Seonho with a derp smile on his face. He pulled Jihoon into a headlock as well. Aigo, this kid really needs to respect his elders.
"Noona! Jihoon! Come with me, I have to show you something!" Seonho said, pulling us to the elevator.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a surprise you'll see."
The elevator opened and I realized we were on the rooftop. As we stepped out, my eyes widened as I observed the scenery before me.
There was a beautiful garden situated all over the rooftop. It consisted of evergreen Christmas trees and pink cherry blossoms.
They were decorated with glowing lights, causing the place to look a Winter Wonderland.
