A few days had passed since the Kang family came to Korea. They moved back to their old mansion in Seoul and decided to stay in Korea for a week to take care of Samsung's domestic stocks.
We still didn't decide on a marriage date. I'm guessing it'll be confirmed in a week or so. Either way, I'm not worried anymore. Daniel's family approved of me and promised to help me get settled in America. That put me at ease.
As of now, I was currently rolling around my bed with nothing to do. I was home alone today, my parents went to work and Seonho was at school. Even the maids and workers took a day off since there was nothing to take care of.
I sighed. What should I do?
Daniel's family told me that he would be taking me out on dates while they were still in Korea. They said it would help us get to know each other even more.
But he hasn't contacted me yet...
Just then, I heard the doorbell ring. I got up and walked downstairs.
Who could that be?
Seonho doesn't get off school at this time and my parents always work late. I opened the door to see Jihoon's smiling face.
"Jihoon? What are you doing here?" I asked.
"How come you always ask that? Why, I can't be here?" He teased.
"No, I was just asking." I replied and let him in.
"I was bored so I came to hang out with Seonho. Is he here?" He asked as we walked into the living room.
"No, he has school. Did you forget?" I pinched his cheek.
He blushed and looked away, "Oh...I forgot."
I smiled and pat his shoulder, "Anyway, I'm glad you came. No one's at home so I was bored too."
He laughed, "That makes the both of us."
We sat on the couch and talked about random things. He told me stories about his high school experiences. It was interesting since I've never had any crazy things going on during homeschool.
Then we started watching a movie. It was kinda boring so neither of us really payed attention. Jihoon kept looking at me like he wanting to say something.
I glanced at him, "What is it Jihoon? Anything bothering you?"
He scratched his head, "Uhm...so did you decide on the wedding date yet? And when you're leaving Korea?"
"No, not yet actually. I'm guessing the wedding date will be decided after the Kang family finishes their business in Korea," I replied.
He nodded and smiled, "Well, I hope it goes well for you."
