Chapter 4 ♔

Your POV:

Once we arrived home, I thanked Sewoon-sshi for the ride and stepped out of the car. I happily skipped inside my house and ran straight to my room. 

I know I slept in but I wanted to sleep again, cuz sleep is life XD Also cuz love my room; I've spent my entire life inside those 4 walls. There's no other place I'd rather be.

As I stepped in my room, I was surprised to see the familiar faces of two guys, sitting on my bed playing video games. They were none other than my pabo brother and Jihoon.

They looked up and smiled when they saw me, "Noona!! You're back!! I missed you!" Seonho ran up and hugged me like the Koala he is.

"Calm down, pabo. I wasn't even gone for that long," I laughed and pushed him off me.

"But I was lonely without you! So I called Jihoon hyung here to keep me company," He pointed at Jihoon.

"Oh, hi Jihoon. It's great to see you again," I smiled at him.

"You too Y/N. I missed you," He said and hugged me. I turned stiff at his action and blushed. I almost forgot he likes skinship too. Maybe he's hanging out with Seonho too much. Or vice versa.

"Hyung, let go of my sister! I told you not to touch her!" Seonho complained and pulled Jihoon off me.

"Gosh, dongsaeng. You need to chill. It's just a friendly hug. Besides, if you can't even deal with me being friendly with your sister, how're you gonna cope when she gets married?" Jihoon asked.

Uh-oh. Seonho doesn't know about this whole marriage thing yet. I was planning on telling him later on - when I think he's ready- But it's too late now. I mentally facepalmed.

"W-W-WHATTTT?!!!! NOONA, YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED?!! HOW COME YOU NEVER TOLD ME!!!" Seonho practically exploded.

"Calm down lil bro. I was planning on telling you eventually....I was just waiting for the right moment," I consoled him.

After 10 minutes of crazily running around the room, he finally calmed down and sat on my bed.

"When did this happen? This whole marriage thing? And where was I this whole time?!" he asked.

"It happened during your birthday party. Our parents were talking about having me get married, then our uncle approached us and suggested that I marry a guy named Kang Daniel. He said this guy would be a perfect match for me since he's the heir of a major Korean company. That's when our parents agreed and confirmed it. You were too busy stuffing your face with pizza to notice haha," I explained.

"Hey no fair!! How come everything happens when I'm not there! Anyway, did you really agree to this noona? Isn't this too sudden?" He asked.

I shrugged in response, "I was hesitant at first....but after Jihoon's support and encouragement, I am actually looking forward to meeting Daniel. I hear he's a good guy. And since he's from a good family, I don't see any point of denying him. I have to get married at some point in my life, right?"

"Yeah....I guess. Well, as long as you're happy, I'm happy too, noona. I'll support your decision!" Seonho smiled. I sighed in relief. 

"Wow, he took it better than I thought! Well done dongsaeng, you've grown into a good boy!" Jihoon patted Seonho's head.

"Whatever hyung! C'mon, let's go to the game room and play!" Seonho cheered, running out of the room.

"Alright I'm coming, wait up!" Jihoon said and turned to look at me, "You coming? We can play Mario Kart. It'll be fun."

"Uhm, it's alright. I don't like video games too much. I'll just stay here," I replied. It wasn't completely true. I do enjoy a few video games, especially Pokémon. But I was too tired right now. All I wanted to do was lie down and read Wattpad stories XD

"Oh ok, we'll be in other room if you need us," he said and I nodded.

After he left, I changed out of my professional clothes and into comfy pajamas. I opened Wattpad and read some stories.

After some time, I unconsciously dropped my phone and begin falling asleep. I dreamed about pleasant things and after a while, was awoken by a pleasant voice. It belonged to Jihoon.

"Hey, Y/N....what's this?" He asked. My eyes were still closed so I didn't know what he was referring to.

I opened my eyes and slowly got up to see Jihoon. He was holding the velvet box in his hand, looking at it with curiosity.

"Oh! Daniel sent me that necklace as a pre-engagement gift. Isn't it beautiful?" I smiled.

"Wow! Yeah it is! It seems I was right. Daniel is taking care of you well, even though you guys haven't even met yet," he laughed and gently pulled the necklace out of the box.

"Have you tried this on yet?" he asked.

"Uhm, no I haven't," I replied.

"You should try it on then, just to make sure it fits. Come here, I'll help you put it on," He motioned for me to come closer.

I walked closer to him, my back facing is front. He gently pushed my hair to the side and secured the necklace around me. The cold metal of the necklace, combined with the soft touch of his fingers sent tingles through my skin. 

I noticed this happens whenever I make contact with Jihoon. I wonder why...

He turned me around and smiled, "Woah....it looks really beautiful on you, noona."

I blushed, "Thanks...and stop calling me noona! It makes you sound like Seonho! Speaking of which, where is Seonho anyway?" 

"That little kid fell asleep while playing Mario Kart. I carried him to his room and came to see you, but you were sleeping too! You guys really are siblings. Both sleep like a pig," He laughed.

"Shut up pabo! I'm not pig!" I said and playfully hit him.

"Heyyy!! That's my line!" He complained.

And so, with Daniel's necklace wrapped around my neck, I spent the rest of the day fooling around with Jihoon. 

I only met him a few days ago, yet he made every moment so comfortable and fun for me.
