~One Month Later~

A long time has passed since that unpleasant incident with Justin. Ever since then, I've made it my mission to avoid any parties and social gatherings at all costs.
I needed time to clear my head and process all the crazy things that have happened since I came to America.
First the drowning incident...then Aunt Linda's weird behaviour, then that horrible time at the party with Daniel, and last but not least...the thing with Justin..
It's a little too much for a girl like me to take.
When I was living in Korea, I didn't have much of a social life because I was homeschooled.
Literally the only drama that happened back then was little quarrels here and there with my brother. But it was all playful and stupid, nothing serious.
But everything is totally different now. I'm the soon-to-be wife of a famous chaebol family, living in a completely different country in an entirely new world....things are ought to be different now.
I snapped out of my thoughts and made my way downstairs. It was just another uneventful day at the Kang mansion.
I've been doing nothing but staying home for the past few weeks. It's comfortable but boring at the same time. I barely have anything to do or anyone to talk to.
Daniel and his parents are barely home since they're always out working. Jihoon is busy with his restaurant and University degree. Even Aunt Linda seems to be caught up in her own work. I heard she owns a flower business outside of the Kang family. Who would've guessed? To think that such an evil person like her would have such an innocent job.
As I walked into the kitchen, I started preparing breakfast for myself and Daniel. It's currently 8:30 am so he usually leaves for work around this time.
He's told me many times not to bother cooking for him and just let the maids handle it. At times I do listen to his request but since I'm extra bored today, I decided to do something useful for once lol.
As I finished preparing some coffee and toast, Daniel walked into the kitchen. He wasn't wearing his usual work attire. Instead, he wore cool-looking street fashion.
