Chapter 7 ♔

Your POV:

I froze as I stared into Daniel's cat-like eyes. He smirked and winked at me as he saw all the coffee staining my shirt. I blushed and got even more flustered. 

Luckily, some maids came over and cleaned up all the mess on the floor.

Our parents didn't seem to mind any of that and just continued smiling at Daniel.

"Hello dear, glad you could make it. Why don't you introduce yourself to this young lady?" Mrs. Kang said to Daniel.

He nodded and walked towards me. I got a clearer look at his face once he was close to me. He was even more charming up-close. And kind of intimidating too.

He held his hand out towards me, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you Y/N. I'm Kang Daniel, the heir of Samsung Electronics."

I pushed aside my anxiety and tried to be confident. C'mon Y/N! Don't embarrass yourself this time! 

I smiled and shook his hand, "The pleasure is all mine, Daniel-sshi. It's nice to finally meet you as well," I said looking into his eyes.

But I noticed his eyes weren't looking back at mine. Instead, they were focused on my chest. I looked down and noticed that the coffee from earlier had soaked through my whole shirt, making it completely see-through.

Ugh! Just great! So much for not embarrassing myself!

Flustered, I quickly pulled my hand away from his and ran towards the bathroom. It was quite far from the living room, so I couldn't see nor hear anybody's reactions. I locked myself in the bathroom and covered my blushing face with my hands.

Talk about a horrible first impression! 

Now Daniel probably thinks I'm dirty hoe that just wants attention!

Jihoon....what would you do in this situation?

I sighed and washed my face with cool water to calm down. It probably ruined my makeup but I didn't care anymore. 

I also grabbed some tissues and wiped my shirt, making sure the stains were gone. It was still see-through though.

Maybe I can sneak upstairs and quickly change? The stairs were also far from the living room so nobody would notice anyway.

I quietly left the bathroom and tiptoed upstairs to my room. Yay, nobody noticed! 

As I walked in my room, I noticed a pair of clothes laying on my bed that weren't there before. There was also a note beside them. I picked up the note and read:

You clumsy girl. I knew you'd mess up, so I bought you an extra pair of clothes to change into. Good luck and hwaiting! :)

I stared at the note in disbelief. How did he know I'd embarrass myself? Is he a psychic or something? Where does he get all these spare clothes from?

I shook my head and put my questions aside. I should be thankful to Jihoon more than anything. He's always there for me when I need it. 

I removed my coffee-stained clothes and changed into the new outfit. It was just as gorgeous as the last one.
