I quietly followed Daniel and Somi into the house. Once we got to the living room, I saw a couple of familiar faces.
The Wanna One members were all sprawled across the couch, playing around with each other. Their heads turned towards our direction and their eyes lit up.
"AYEEE KANG DANIK!! YOU FINALLY MADE IT!" Seongwoo jumped up and crushed Daniel into a big hug.
"Noona!! You're here too!! Omg we missed you so much!" Daehwi exclaimed and gave me a warm embrace. The Wanna One members crowded around me and gave me a pat on the back.
I looked around for Jihoon but couldn't find him anywhere. Daehwi noticed and spoke up, "Oh you're looking for Jihoon right? Sorry noona but he said he was busy so he couldn't make it."
I pouted, "Aww that's too bad...I was really looking forward to seeing him~"
I heard someone scoff, making me turn my head towards the direction of the voice.
Bae Jinyoung.
He's the only one who didn't greet me and was standing as far away from me as possible.
"Yah Jinyoung! Stop being so rude! Come here and greet your noona," Minhyun commanded.
Jinyoung turned his head towards me and our eyes met for a split second. I swear I just saw a gleam of disgust in his eyes. He looked away right after and turned around to leave the room.
I blinked in confusion. Seriously what is his problem?
This is only the second time we've met yet he avoids me like I stole his kidney or something..
Daehwi pat my back, "Don't mind him noona, he's still immature. He's probably just going through a rebellious teenage phase," he chuckled.
I laughed as well, "Oh trust me I've had experience with that. My little brother Seonho never made it easy for me either."
Suddenly, we were interrupted by the loud sound of heels clicking against the floor. I looked over at the door and saw a group of girls walk in.
"Omg hi guys!! It's been so long!" they cheered and proceeded to give a kiss on the cheek to all the Wanna One members, including Daniel.
"Omg hey girls!! Glad you could make it!" Somi exclaimed and gave them a group hug.
"Oh the girls are here! Hey Somi, why don't you introduce them to Y/N? Maybe she can make some new friends," Daniel suggested.
Somi looked at me and rolled her eyes, "Fine. Y/N, these are my friends I.O.I. They've been my closest squad since high school, along with Wanna One. Meet ChungHa, Doyeon, Yoojung, and Pinky."
