An Infinity

When our eyes first met,

I knew I was in love.

Our fates were already set

By the infinite stars above.

We both possess tortured hearts

That had been through too much.

Now we make up each other's parts;

The parts we eternally clutch.

Never letting go no matter what,

Because together we are strong.

Down, our love, they tried to shut,

But together is where we belong.

Ever so gently you touch my skin,

Tracing marks only you can see.

We slowly indulge in every sin,

Our passion; young wild and free.

My love, we fused together

Attaching all our broken pieces.

And even through rainy weather,

Our love only increases.

Then singing to this heart of mine

Was the beating of your own.

It told me everything was fine

And that I will never be alone.

Years will fly by as we grow older.

We might even grow insane,

But in the eyes of the beholder

The beauty of us will remain.

By the infinite stars above,

Our final days are set.

Even on that day my Love,

I'll feel as I did the day we met.
