It was only Elliot's mate Tom

I was so relieved

"Shall we go and talk to mum then?" I asked rye

"Can do" he said looking really nervous

"Calm down it will be fine" I said turning to face the door

We walked along the landing and down the stairs and into the kitchen where Mum, Elliot and Tom were

"Hey" I said walking in first

"Bella why didn't you tell me?" Mum asked

"Tell you what?" I asked

"About How Harvey reacted to you and rye" she said

"I was going to but we were unpacking and I wanted to let you get in before I told you" I said

"Sorry Bells i thought it would be better if I told mum before she saw you to let her understand it better" Elliot said

"It's okay bro" I said "Are you okay with this Mum?" I asked

"Me and tom are going to leave you to it" Elliot said before they both walked out

"Of course I am darling" mum said "you two suit really well and if you're happy I'm happy"

"I love you Mum" I said hugging her

"I know darling" she said "anyway introduce me to rye properly, it feels rude otherwise"

I let go over her and went and stood next to rye

He held my hand

"Mum meet my boyfriend Rye, rye meet my mum" I said

Rye stepped forward to shake my mums hand but instead she gave him the biggest hug

I smiled , glad that mum approved

"Shall we go and sit in the lounge with Elliot and Tom?" Mum asked

"Sure" I said

She walked out but me and rye staying in the kitchen briefly

"See I told you it would be fine" I said to rye

"I know but what are we going to do about Harvey?" He asked

"Like I said He'll get over it" I said

Rye smiled

"Shall we go and see the others?" I asked

"Yeah lets" Rye said and we walked to the lounge

"Hey" I said as we sat down

Rye sat in the corner of the sofa and I sat next to him and leaned on him hugging him

I looked over at Mum who was sitting by the window , she smiled

"Bella" Elliot said

"Yeah?" I said looking over at him

"You're not going to like this" he said

"What?" I said worried

"Look over at the window" he said

I turned to look over and Harvey was stood there looking in , he ducked when he said me looking

"Oh no" rye said

"Listen babe it's fine he won't do anything" I said

Rye looked at me

"He won't" I said "I stood up for you at the flat and I'll do the same now"

I heard the front door unlock and I stood up, Elliot and Tom also stood up

"What are you doing ?" I asked them

"We aren't going to do anything unless he does" Tom said

Harvey appeared at the door

"Why the hell did you run away from me?" He asked

"Because you were threatening to break Ryes face" I said Calmly

"What did you expect?" He asked "my bestfriend is now going out with my little sister!"

"And?" I asked

"And" He said "And you didn't even ask me if it was okay first"

"I'm sorry harvey" I said "but I don't need your permission before I start dating someone"

"You do if he's my best mate" Harvey said

"No I don't" I said "anyway why do you care? After everything you said to me last night why are you even here?"

"About last night" Harvey began

"No" I said "you said what you meant and now I know how you really feel about me so why don't you just leave me to my life and I won't get involved in yours"

"Because I didn't mean what I said last night" he said

"Well" I said "you still said it didn't you, you still thought about it and said it, you wouldn't have if you didn't mean it"

Harvey looked at the floor

"Am I really that bad?" I asked him

"No" Harvey said pausing

"Harvey" Rye said standing up

I looked back at him

"Rye" Harvey said

"Harv I never meant to upset you" he started "but you can't help who you love and I love your sister so much, she makes me so happy and I'm so glad we met"

I smiled and put my arms around him and rested my head on his shoulder

"Rye you should have spoke to me before asking her out" Harvey said

"I would have but you hated me at that point" he said "I didn't want to upset you even more"

"I'm sorry Rye" Harvey said "I was way to over the top"

Rye nodded

"Can we move on?" He asked

"Yeah I want to"rye said and he put his hand out

I backed off to let them shake hands

Harvey took Ryes hand and pulled him into a man hug

I smiled, so glad they were okay again...
