Part 82

Wednesday morning came and we woke up to the noise of someone going through a bag in my room.

"Do you mind?" I said sitting up and opening my eyes

It was Harvey

"Oh sorry sis" he said "just looking for something don't mind me"

"Looking for what?" I asked

I felt rye wake up next to me

"You know that jumper I left at the flat, the one that you then stole" Harvey said

"The red one with the black writing on? The one you were going to throw out" I said

"Yeah that one" he said "where is it?"

"it's back at the flat" I said

"You're kidding Me" Harvey said

"No" I said "you didn't want it so I thought I'd leave it at the flat in Slough"

Harvey sighed "ugh"

"What?" I asked

"I was going to wear it today" he said

"Well you haven't worn it in ages so I didn't think you still wanted it" I said

"Never mind" Harvey said

"Okay" I said

"Morning" Rye said stretching

"Hey Babe" I said

"Sup bro" Harvey said

"What has Mum planned for today?" I asked Harvey

"She wants to go and see nan and grandad I think nans done a lunch for a few of us" Harvey said

"Ah right okay" I said "when you say a few of us who do you mean?"

"Me, you, Rye, Elliot, Mum, dad, nan, grandad and I think Blair is coming" Harvey said

"Blair?" I asked

"Yeah I think Mum said he's coming because he wants to talk to me, you and Rye after" Harvey said

"Okay fair enough" I said "did he say what it was for?"

"Nope" Harvey said "but it's 11 now and dinner is at 2"

"That's ages" I said

"We are leaving at half 12" Harvey said

"Okay I'll get up in a minute" I said

"Right" Harvey said "I'll leave you to it"

"Thanks bro" I said

He walked out

"What do you think Blair wants?" Rye asked

"I have no idea" I said "it must be important"

"I'm a bit worried" Rye said

"It will be fine" I said

We got up and I got ready and started doing my makeup while Rye was in the shower.

We went to my nans and met Blair there. Dinner was amazing! Nan and grandad always made the best dinners!
We spent hours at their house, talking about my shows and our lives down in Slough. Nan wanted to know the ins and outs of how I met rye and how I got my own flat.
I loved seeing my grandparents, they always made me smile and laugh, they loved rye as this was the first time meeting him properly and they got to know him.

It got to late afternoon / early evening before blair, Rye, Harvey and I went to a cafe to talk.
We walked over to a table and sat down.

"So" blair said "this is for Roadtrip bella and Harvey so I thought I'd tell you all together"

"Okay" Harvey said

"So in a few weeks, the 27th of April" blair began "there's a big dinner where people can get to know you better. promoters from big music companies and some press will be there so it's a huge deal"

"Right" rye said

"So you all need to dress smart like black tie smart and make sure you don't discuss anything too personal as the press will hear everything" blair said

"Right that's a lot of responsibility" Harvey said

"It sounds good" I said

"Why did you tell us now not tomorrow when we get back to the flat?" Rye asked

"I wanted to give you the heads up and give you something to look forward to" blair said

"Okay thank you" I said

Blair said he needed to go as it would take him a couple of hours to get back to Slough and it was 7pm already, Blair dropped us at mums on the way.
We walked into the house and had a few drinks with my parents before we headed up to bed to watch a film.
We watched one of the star wars films and after the amount of food we'd eaten rye and I were fast asleep.

On Thursday morning, once we woke up we decided to go shopping. Rye and I both wanted to get a few things for the weekend and also for the flat as we knew there wouldn't be anything like bread as we'd been away for a while.

We left the house just after 12. Harvey and Elliot went with us and did there own thing.
Rye got some new jeans and other essential clothes, I got a new handbag and clothes too.
We all met at a cafe at half 4 and had a coffee and a cake. Harvey and Elliot showed us what they had purchased and we showed them what we got before we headed home.

I rang mum once we got to the car and said i would pick Nando's up for us all on the way Home.
I drove us to Nando's then harvey and Elliot went in and got the food, Rye and I were both obsessed with the Nando's peri peri salt chips so we got a few portions of those as well as lots of chicken.

We got home and found Mum had already set the table. Me, Rye, Mum, dad, Harvey and Elliot all sat down to eat and had a laugh.

It was our last night at my mums and we needed to be back at the flat around 11 tomorrow which meant we needed to pack and get everything sorted tonight.
By the time we had eaten it was about 6 so we spent a couple of hours with the family and had a few drinks before heading upstairs to pack.

Harvey was also packing so he could lay in a bit longer tomorrow, by the time we had finished it was almost 11 and we decided to go to bed.

"Night babe" Rye said

"Goodnight" I said kissing him and switching off the light.
