Part of the Family - A Roadtrip Fanfic

Part 41

I got out of bed and got ready

We were travelling there today then performing tomorrow before flying home Monday

After I got Rye up and after I'd finished packing, I went downstairs to find Loren and Harvey were taking their bags to the front door ready to go

"Morning" I said

"Morning" they both said in sync

Once the four of us had all brought our bags down we took them to my car and met the others in the car park
Ellie had got a taxi and was waiting by my car as we'd got down there

"I was just calling you!" She said

"I'm psychic I just knew you were here" I said laughing

Ellie had been doing some record stuff in London and was still saying in a hotel although we had offered to let her have our spare room

We all said good morning to each other and had a quick catch up before heading to the airport

Zack, josh, jack and Paul were going to meet us in Dublin and spike had left on an earlier flight so was already there

Me and Blair drove to the airport. In my car there was the usual

Rye
Harvey
Loren
Mikey
And Ellie. In blair's car there was...

And Jack.

We all got to the airport okay and met up at the check in desk.
We'd all remembered our passports which was good and we managed to get through security okay and we finally got into the departure lounge with just under 2 hours to spare.

We wandered around the airport for a bit and Loren and I went to buy a magazine for the plane journey.
The journey was only 1 hour 30 but we loved to keep up with the latest celeb gossip.
We joined the others then rye and I decided to go and get a fry up as we hadn't eaten yet.
The others decided to join us and by the time we had finished it was time to walk to our check in gate.

Mikey was still on crutches but this time Andy boarded with him and Blair stayed with us.
We boarded soon after Mikey and Andy and we took our seats.
The plane was small and we sat in 2's.

Loren and Harvey
Blair and ginger
Ellie was lucky, she got two seats to herself so she could put her legs up and chill.

Rye put his arm around me and I rested my head on his chest

"I can't believe this is the last show of tour!" He said

"I know it's gone by way too quick" I said

"Have you enjoyed it?" He asked

"It's been a rush but yeah it's been so much fun" I said smiling "have you enjoyed it?"

"I always do!" He said "the fans are so amazing I just love meeting them and thanking them"

"This last Dublin show is going to be amazing!" I said "I just know it"

"Dublin's always amazin" jack said joining in our conversation

Rye and I laughed

"Sorry I'm just buzzed to be playin at home in Ireland" jack said

"It's going to be great" I said

Rye and I carried on talking for a bit then I decided I'd take a quick nap. In the mean time Rye got his book out and carried on reading from where he had left off.

I woke up about 10 minutes before we were due to land

"Hey guys can you make sure your seatbelts are on and you me seat back is upright, we are going to be landing very soon" an air hostess said

We followed her instructions and made sure we were ready to land.
We landed safely and it was about an hour until we got out of the airport and met spike in the Carpark.
He had hired two big 4X4 to collect us and take us back to the hotel.
We finally got to the hotel at 5 and decided we would have a chill then go out for something to eat.

I had a quick shower to wake me up again and got ready, meanwhile rye had a 'power nap' and a bit later we met the others and went for a meal out

It was almost 8 by the time we got to the restaurant, it was a cute little Italian place about 30 minutes from our hotel.
I had the best pasta ever and rye had a huge pizza.
We all sat around a massive table and had a catch up as we hadn't really spoken to each other properly since the last tour date.
Josh filled me in on his plans and love life and I explained about my interviews I had done the past week as well as the video collab with Conor.

It was like old times, josh and I used to work together on sets and shoots when I was younger and josh had been there for me when my dad died. He'd always been around and now being on tour with him and his band seemed surreal.

This whole adventure seemed somehow surreal.

A normal girl like me who, by chance, met a boy and and fell in love with him, before signing to a Company and getting a flat with her boyfriend, big brother and his girlfriend.

I felt so blessed to be in that position ... I glanced around the table before making eye contact with rye, I smiled and he smiled back... what did I do to deserve this?

I turned back to josh and continued our conversation, Zack and jack joined in too and we worked out I had a lot in common with them both and it was really nice to get to know them.

We finished our meal and we ordered our desserts.

The hara boys started continued discussing their plans with each other and I started speaking to rye

We did a quick check of 'are you Okay?' And we were both fine so we rejoined conversations

This time I joined in with rye and roadtrips conversation as I didn't want to disrupt the hara as they were deep in discussion

We were talking about the flats and how they were going to be moving soon as well as plans for after the tour as Dublin was the last tour date.

The boys asked me a lot about my music plans and I tried to answer as best I could but I didn't even know myself exactly what I was going to do.

We chatted until our taxis arrived and took us back to the hotel, it was time to sleep as we had the Dublin show tomorrow and we needed the rest.

We got back to the hotel and finally went to bed at around 11, I set my alarm for 10:30 and turned off the light ...

I soon fell asleep ...
