Friday came around and it was time to pack for the weekend away for the tour.
I was t feeling well and slept most of the day but I packed when I was awake between naps. Zach was in the studio as planned and overall Friday was a pretty chilled day. The boys all ordered take away and had a movie night but I was in bed with some soup rye had made me.
I fell asleep early that night and woke up at 8 am Saturday morning to the sound of ryes alarm, it would take just over 3 hours to get to Sheffield so we needed to get up that early.
We drove up to Sheffield once Darren appeared with the mini bus. I didn't drive as I still didn't feel very well so blair took his car too.
The plan was that the Roadtrip boys, zach and Aaron would go in the van with Darren and I would go in Blair's car with him, ginger and Harvey But rye didn't want to leave me and insisted Harvey swapped with him. I told rye I didn't want him getting sick but he said he didn't care as long as he could make sure I'm okay.
So after a quick swap Harvey got in with Darren and the boys and rye came and got into the car next to me. I had a pillow and a blanket and so did rye, I think the majority of us had brought them with us so we could sleep on the way. Once we got into the car rye and I set up our makeshift beds and fell asleep.
I woke up to rye gently tapping me
"Babe we're here" he was saying "it's time to wake up"
"Yeah" I said waking up and opening my eyes
"We are like 5 minutes away" rye said "but I thought I'd wake you up now so you can get ready for photos"
"Photos!" I said sitting up
"Yeah I'm guessing the fans will want pictures" rye said
"Look at me" I said "I'm wearing leggings and your jumper"
"I thought I recognised that" he said "you'll be fine babe just smile and wave"
"Ginger can I borrow your hairbrush please?" I asked
Ginger handed me her hair brush and I tied the top half of my hair up to try and make myself look more presentable
We pulled up outside the venue and we could see the fans queuing there and cheering as we drove by to the carpark
I got out of the car, leaving my blanket and pillow behind, then walked around the car toward the van where the others were
"It lives!" Brook said as I stood next to him
"Just about" I said smiling, I felt awful but I knew I could sleep backstage once everyone was inside
We all grouped together as security came and escorted us in, we weren't aloud to take photos with fans but we could wave and smile on our way in.
I'm not going to lie I was quite happy because I felt bad and looked worse.
People were taking pictures so I put in a big smile and strutted my stuff.
