Part 75

We woke up late Tuesday morning.
Ryes mum had bought me a dressing gown to match ryes so we put them on and went downstairs.

It was 11am and Mrs B was cooking everyone breakfast.

"Smell the bacon did we?" She said as we walked in

Sam and Sean ran up to us and hugged us both.

"Ryan can we go out today?" Sammy asked

"Where do you want to go?" Rye asked

"Go-karting!" sean said

"Yes!" Sammy said "go-karting"

"You up for that babe?" Rye asked me

"Of course" I said "I'll beat all of you"

"Rob do you want to come?" Rye asked

"Yeah I'll come cheers bro" he said

We all had breakfast then went upstairs to get ready.

"Do you want to take my car? Or are we going in robs car?" I asked

"Can we go in yours babe robs cars quite small" rye said

"Yeah that's fine" I said

We booked the track for 1:30 so we all got in my car and left ryes at half 12 as we had to be there 15minutes before to sign in and get ready.

Sam and Sean wanted rye in the back with them so Rob sat in the front with me.

I drove us to the track and we all got into the suits we needed to wear and chose our helmets.

The 5 of us decided we would all do a 3 lap race and the loser had to do a forfeit.

The signal lights began the countdown and once the showed green we set off.

We started in lines of 2 cars

Sammy and Sean at the front
Rye and rob in the middle
Me at the back

Sam and Sean crashed into each other as they were trying to knock each other off the track.

Rob and rye were almost drag racing each other, They we side by side for most of it. Then there was me behind them. I avoided Sam and Sean as I overtook them and I sat behind Rob and rye for a bit.

They were nudging each other and it was only a matter of time before one of them spun off. I was going to overtake them on the straight but then I saw rye clips robs tyre and rob went off the track infront of me.

I swerved and missed him and tried to catch rye up.

"You've got to try better than that to catch me" rye said through the intercom in our helmets

"You think?" I said changing gear and picking up speed.

"You won't beat me babe" rye said

It was the last lap, I knew I could do it.

"Okay let's place bets" I said catching him slowly

"Okay what's your bet" rye said

"When I beat you" I said

"If you beat Me" rye said

"When I beat you" I said "you have to go in the sea when we take the boys to the beach later"

"Okay" rye said "and when I beat you, you have to do the same"

"So whoever loses out of the two of us has to go in the sea" I said

Right I had to win now, it was April and the sea was freezing, I was not going in, no way.

I changed gear again and almost caught up to rye, I was next to him.
