Part 43

He agreed we'd meet up that morning whilst everyone else was packing, Andy and I were smart and only got stuff we needed out of our bags so it only took us 10 minutes to pack.
Our flight was in the evening and we had to meet everyone outside the hotel at 12 ready to head to the airport. It was 9 am and barely anyone was awake I'd agreed to meet Andy at 9:30 at the cafe so got dressed and started walking

We met a a cafe (which was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel) and grabbed a table. Andy bought my tea for me and asked what was on my mind

"You said you wanted to talk" Andy said "is everything okay?"

"Yeah it's probably nothing but I'm worried about rye" I said

"What's up?" He asked

"So we got together a while ago now and fans were mainly supportive and there were only a couple of haters" I said

"Yeah" Andy agreed

"But since I signed to Alphadog and started hiking my career I've noticed more negatives and I know for sure rye has to" I said

"Yeah people are just jealous of how successful you two are" Andy said

"Yeah" I said "negativity doesn't bother me because Elrond in the modelling industry I've got used to it but I think rye is struggling"

"What do you mean?" He asked

"Well for example we lay in bed watching tv at night and I notice his phone flash up with hate from fans, hate towards me mainly but some towards him too" I said

"Oh really?" Andy said sounding mildly upset

"Yeah but I don't think rye is taking it too well, he seems less relaxed I don't know if you noticed" I said

"Now you mention it I guess he has been acting sort of strange recently" Andy said "what have you noticed?"

"Well firstly he's not been sleeping very well" I said "I'm a light sleeper and I feel him get out of bed and go out for a walk most nights" I said

"Really?" Andy said

"Yeah" I said "he normally gets up and grabs his house keys then goes for about 30 minutes then I hear him come in again then he goes back to sleep"

"How long has he been doing that?" Andy asked

"Urm since like halfway through tour" I said

"Why didn't you mention it earlier?" Andy asked

"Because I used to get up at 5 and go for a run then have a shower and get back into bed when I lived at home and I thought rye was maybe doing the same thing" I said

"But?" Andy asked

"When he gets home he's cold, not sweating or out of breath like he would be if he had been running" I said "he must just go for a walk"

"That's so strange" Andy said "I don't remember him doing that before"

"Ugh andy" I said putting my head in my hands "what if I'm having a bad impact on him? He's ill now in bed and what if he's ill because of the stress?"

"You're not" Andy said "he's just stressed about something he'll be okay"

"But stressed about what exactly" I said "I bet if I ask he won't tell me the truth"

"How about if I ask" Andy suggested

"No then he'll know I've spoke to you about it" I said "he'll hate that and won't talk to any of us"
