Christmas Day!

3 Year Later. Zoe and Alfie have had their wedding on January the 25th and it is now Christmas. Evelyn is 5 Years old.
Zoes POV

It was Christmas morning and Me and Alfie were awake at 5:30am in the morning.

We had christmas music in the background and the christmasy lights around the living room. Me and Alfie were sat watching Evelyn opening her presents, it was the most adorable sights we had ever seen.

Her face lit up as she unwrapped a Beauty and the Beast Tea set. This was basically mini potery tea pots, plates and cups, but her reaction was amazing.
She cupped her cheeks as her face lit up red. Tears began to stream and she immediatly got up and ran up to me and Alfie, giving us the biggest hugs.
"Yay!!!" She screamed ripping them out of the box with excitement. I couldn't believe that this was her for 5th Christmas with us. It felt to quick.

After about 3 hours we got her dressed in her new red dress and black glittery cardigan. We put her shoes and coat on, then me and Alfie got ready.
It was 13:16pm and we were on our way to Alfie's Mums. Alfie's parents and mine plus our grandparents were all together for Christmas so we decided to visit them and give them there presents.

"Grandad!" Evelyn shouts running up to Alfie's dad and giving him a hug.
"Excuse me princess where is my hug?" My dad says opening his arms out wide.
"Grandad!" Evelyn giggled and shouts running to him and engulfing him into a hug. Evelyn came over to me for me to take off her coat. I took it off as Evelyn finished giving hugs.
We all talked for a bit.
"So looking forward to your anniversary next month?" My mum asks me and Alfie.
"Yeah it's almost 3 year since we got married now. I can't believe it." I say hugging Alfie. Alfie placed a kiss on my head.
"Okay you lovely couple not in the family room!" Alfie's mum laughs.
I looked to see Evelyn playing with her great Grandads and great Grandmahs while her grandparents were watching TV and exchanging gifts.
Alfie reached over to 8 large sacks pulled from the car. Evelyn ran up to them and screamed.
"YAY MORE PRESENTS!!" Evelyn says running to them.
"Evelyn sweetheart, these arent for you they are for your grandparents sweetie pie" I politely smile. Her face drops.
"Would you like to give them to them" I ask her. Her face immediately lights up. She tries to drag Alfie's mums bag but it was too heavy so Alfie helped.
We done this through everyone else and watched as they opened there presents. Evelyn was sat inbetween me and Alfie with the biscuit tub in between her legs with some juice.

We all talked for a while and Evelyn playing. After a while Sean and poppy arrived and we Alfie had a few to drink. Obviously I had none as 1. I haven't drunk much since I was 18 and 2. Someone has to drive home.

It was now 4:53pm and me and Alfie decided we were going to go and take the turkey out me check on the rest of the dinner.
"We are going to go now guys!" I say hugging everyone.
"Aww okay see you soon guys!" They all said giving us hugs.
"Thanks for our presents" my dad says.
"It's okay!" I say.
"Where's Evelyn?" I say at poppy.
"She fell asleep so I put her on mums bed" she smiles. I give poppy and Sean a hug and I had already gave them their present so I ran upstairs to wake Evelyn up.
Evelyn gave everyone hugs and then we all left.

It took us about 1 hour to get home so as straight as we got in we checked tea and served it among us 3.
When we finished we watched a little movie and Evelyn fell asleep so we took her to bed. (8:24pm) then me and Alfie went up a short while afterwards at around 11:20pm.

A/N I didn't succeed in gaining 500 before Christmas but it's Okay it is my fault for not uploading. I have been really busy and have not had time to upload on both books. But it's Christmas eve and I hope you are all smiling and spending this time with your family.
