Your eyes sparkle in the streetlights
As if the city in your head is kept awake
Bustling with life and excitement
Your hands feel so warm in mine
Like a soft blanket, a toasty beach
Beside an ocean of wonder, impossible not to fall in
You are the morning dew on a spiderweb
The frost on the glass on a December day
The birds that sing in the summertime
You are a bridge of gold and hope
A melody stuck in my head
A feeling that I can't let go
You are my everything
