Amnesia Again

She takes a deep breath, staring into nothing

How is it she got here again?

The rain pelts down, dampening everything

Standing before that line, looking down, it's so thin

Looking forward, all she can see is a blur

Unsure if that place is of solace or further affliction

Looking back, fragments of her past plague her

Like a deadly gas, to which her mask has worn thin

This girl thinks;

Maybe, if I stay right here on this line

I won't need to move forward or backward in time

So she places her feet on the boundary

And begins to walk in circles once more
