It rained this morning
Mama told me so
So I grabbed my galoshes and my favorite umbrella
And jumped in the puddles, splashing
I could feel the water hitting my raincoat
I wonder if the water could feel it too
My feet crashing through
Slamming against the concrete
The water broke into over a million pieces
And screamed in agony
I giggled at the noise
And hopped happily onto its neighbor
I don't think I like rainy days anymore
