A Snowflake in the Flame

Like snowflakes, fluttering carefully

Side to side, but straightforward nonetheless

White little fragments of numbing cold

Drawn to the ground, their one and only purpose

For me, fluttering doesn't come so easy

Especially when my ground is that hellish inferno

With every lick of the flames, I melt and melt

It's pleasant, it burns, it's killing me

But I'm not really like that...

The horrible man you make me out to be

I'm trapped in his body with selfish desire

I can't hold it back, no matter how hard I try

I pull at the skin, an attempt to escape

Intoxicated with every breath I take

But it doesn't matter how many times I cut, kick, scream

This cold body is my jail cell for eternity
