Everyone Has A Reason

It was Lunch time and I was heading towards the rooftop. I sorta don't want to go the library alone right now and I have the others to be with during this period. Plus, Luffy or someone would probably come and get me if I wasn't there.

And I don't know who's confessing their love in there.

As I was heading towards the stairs to the rooftop, I decided to think about how I could grab a snack from the vending machine in the main hallway on the first floor.

Maybe they could wait a bit longer? As long as I stay away from the library I should be good as gold.

So, I ran towards the stairs that would take me to the first floor. I didn't want to make them wait any longer than what they probably had to. As I was running, I noticed Koala coming out of the girl's restroom, she seemed to notice me too and waved at me. I stopped in front of her and put my hands on knee to catch up on my breath.

"Oh! Hi (Y/n)-chan!" She said with a happy expression, is this girl always so cheerful?

"H-hi-" I tried saying, I was almost out of breath from running. I stood back up again and looked at her.

"Can you please...um, tell the others that I'll be with them in a bit? I-um, have to get something?" I said in a low voice. There were other students still around us and I'm still not completely comfortable with speaking around others.

"Of course, I can! I'll let them know, see you in a bit." She said cheerfully again. We both parted our ways and we went on with our business.

Well, at least they know that I'll be up there soon. I don't want Luffy to come find me again and carry me.

As I got towards the vending machines, I noticed that no one was here but me. Nice and quiet, and alone, it was the perfect environment for me. I looked for some snacks that would catch my attention and maybe buy a snack or two.

When I decided that I had enough snacks with me, I turned around and bumped into something, more like someone. I fell onto my butt and drop my snacks. I looked up to the person I bumped into and let me say this, I'm probably the unluckiest girl in this whole school.

DO YOU WANT ME TO DIE OR SOMETHING, GOD? WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST ME ?!

I stared up at Kid and he just looked down at me with his blonde small next to him. I don't think I'll ever understand why he wears a doctor's mask, maybe to cover his face or is he always sick? I've heard a rumor that he was, not really sure. Either way, it doesn't matter right now because I'm terrified to move. They both stared at me and me to them.

"I-I-um, I'm so-sorry I didn't mean to-" I tried speaking, and even when I did, it was still too low for them to probably hear. Kid just sighed and closed his eyes for a bit before looking around the area.

Is he looking for someone? WAIT, IS HE GOING TO BEAT ME UP AND DOESN'T WANT ANYONE TO BE AROUND? I TOLD HIM I WAS SORRY AT THE LIBRARY.

He then looks back at me and then to his friend before saying something to him. His friend laughed at him and Kid gave him a glare, before looking at me and extending his hand out to me. Being me the stupid person that I am, I just stared at it before slowly looking up at him.

"Are you going to take my hand or not?!" He yells, making me jump. I immediately grabbed his hand and he pulled me up from the ground. His friend laughed again and Kid just glared at him again before looking at me.
