after watching an awesome movie,"

i grumbled under my breath as johnny threw his laptop onto his bed, gesturing for me to join him in watching netflix.
"no, i'm going back right now," i demanded, crossing my arms.
"sure, and let your older sister find out that you came from a boy's room," he smirked. and he was right. just when i was carried from my room all the way to johnny's room, maddie decided that it would be the perfect time to take a seat on my bed and not leave. there was no way i could go back now and avoid a round of questioning. maddie was perfect, but she was the typical overprotective sister. i wouldn't doubt her abilities to box johnny all the way to alaska, but honestly i would rather save the trouble of preparing a funeral and visiting her in jail.
as if voicing out my thoughts, johnny grinned, "the best thing to do now is to chill and come over,"
sighing, i crawled over, grabbing a pillow and staring moodily at his laptop screen. johnny casually flicked through the movies on netflix while i immersed myself in my bitter thoughts. why was he acting like he didn't practically kidnap me from my room, drag me here, and force me to watch movies with him?
did i mention that the first thing he did when he arrived here was to lock the windows and the doors, before hiding the key. now i feel like a prisoner confined in his room.
while waiting for him to make up his mind, i looked around his newly decorated room. it is pale cream colored, and quite empty actually, unlike my heavily cluttered room. there was only a desk, a couch, a television and the bed. his pillows were a blessing, though - they are stuffed with goose feathers and are softer than anything i have ever touched before.
hugging it close to my chest, i peered over his shoulders to see which movie he has chosen. i decided to accept that fact that i wasn't going back to the comfort of my room anytime soon.
"would insidious or the last house on the left make you more scared?" he mused out loud, looking at some horror movies. i frowned. horror movies? how did he know i like them? they are my absolute favorite genre.
"why horror movies?" i asked curiously. did he like them too?
"so that when you are scared we can cuddle!" he grinned triumphantly at me as i snorted. fat chance. i should have known that the reason he would give me was a stupid one.
"continue dreaming, orlando, but don't pee your pants when you realise that you are too scared," i smirked, as he tapped on insidious. guess he doesn't know that i have watched insidious at least a dozen times already. but i sure as hell wasn't going to spoil it.
finally, the show started and before long, i was engrossed in it like how i usually was. biting my nails in anticipation, i turned to johnny who was smiling at me.
"scared?" he asked, holding his arms for a hug.
"never, but are you sure it isn't too intense for you, darling?" i shot back, pushing his arms away, watching him pout.
then, the fun part came. my favorite chapter, chapter three. johnny was staring hard at the screen by now and was no longer paying attention to me, so i cooked up a plan in my mind.
'the man who can't breathe," i mouthed the words, the lines from the movie already etched in my mind, sprouting out of my mouth easily.
'the man who lives in the vents," i continued, a little louder, while johnny shot me a look to be quiet. hm, he hadn't realized yet.
"i heard him saying your name last night, i heard him in your room," i increased the volume of my voice, saying exactly what the character was saying. johnny slowly turned to me, a frown of realization creeping up his face.
"i heard him in your room while you were gone, he's in there right now, standing in your room," i said even louder, while johnny looked at me in amazement, his eyes widening.
"you-you watched insidious before?" he spluttered, pointing at me, while i nodded proudly.
"how many times have you watched it?" johnny demanded, turning to face me completely, completely disregarding the movie.
"like twelve," i said casually, watching him look at me in complete shock calmly.
"what? and i watched it to make you afraid! wasted ten minutes of my time!" he groaned as i smiled playfully.
"you didn't ask me whether i watched it before," i said cheekily as he sighed, scrolling through more movies.
"i'm gonna find one scariest one to scare you today, i don't believe that none of them can scare you," he announced after a while and i shrugged. bring it on.
"curse of chucky?" he asked, pausing at a horror movie.
"watched it twice," i answered.
"would you rather?"
"that's two years ago, johnny," i rolled my eyes.
"paranormal activity two and three?" he looked at me hopefully.
"i watched them with maddie last week," i smiled confidently.
"the human centipede?"
"watched it last night," i replied, making sure my voice sounded bored.
"how about exorcist?"
"all time favorite!" i said happily, watching him chuck his laptop at the far end of his bed.
"i give up," he groaned, exasperated, as i chuckled.
"no cuddles for you, bad boy, sorry," i grinned playfully, patting his arms lightly.
"no cuddles, you say?" his voice dipped lower as he moved towards me.
"w-what, n-no," i stammered, feeling my face grow hot at our close proximity.
all of a sudden, he gripped my waist lightly and flipped me over so that i was under him. what the-
