"the cause of all misunderstandings,
could be because of one small action,"

"Can you shut your ass?" I screamed over the booming music as I reached over Lauren to give Johnny a firm and hard slap over his head.
"He rocks in the tree tops all day long. Hoppin' and a-boppin' and singing his song. All the little birdies on Jaybird Street love to hear the robin go tweet tweet tweet!" Johnny continued squawking while I covered my ears and glared at him. Actually, why should I insult the birds with Johnny's awful singing?
He sounded like he had swallowed a block of butter and sand together, plucked out all his teeth, superglued them back, and started screeching. He was disgracing Michael Jackson's songs so badly that I couldn't bear to even look at him.
But on a happier note, it was all good between us again. All the slaps and hits all over his head must have done a good job breaking the ice between us. Although Lauren did mention, Johnny didn't do anything vigorous yesterday night. But frankly, I don't know what to think anymore.
Sighing and crossing my arms over my chest, I turned towards the window moodily. If Johnny continues to shriek for the rest of the day, I think I'll drop dead really soon.
Thankfully enough, we soon arrived at the beach. Shouting in glee, partly from being spared from Johnny's continuous singing, I jumped out from the car, getting weird stares from Johnny.
"What? I'm happy to have escaped from you, okay?" I poked his chest three times before jumping away from him.
"Oh, then you are not escaping today, darling," he growled, his voice deepening till it sent my heart into a frenzy.
Laughing, I ran around the car to where Brandon was getting our stuff out of the boot. Suddenly, a pair of arms reached out towards my waist and pulled me into his arms.
My breath hitched in my throat as Johnny smirked at me, his hands resting lightly on my waist, breathing heavily. My heart was now cartwheeling way too fast as I stared at him. It felt nice, nestled against his chest and time seemed to stop.
My body reacted furiously and I felt a tingle between my legs as my skin exploded into flames wherever Johnny's hands landed. The crop top I was wearing felt way too thin under his fingers. I shivered slightly under Johnny's touch.
Until Lauren coughed unceremoniously. Trust her to interrupt the moment.
Flushing furiously, I squirmed out of Johnny's grasp, ignoring Lauren's eyebrow wiggles, Annie's knowing smile, Hayden's excited squeak and Brandon's surprising blank face.
Johnny was unusually quiet as he stared at me intensely.
"Well? What are we waiting for, let's go," I said unsurely as everyone stared. Grabbing a random bag, I grimaced as I walked forward, feeling everyone trample after me.

I didn't know what to say as I stared at Kenzie walking ahead. It was as if I was in a trance. Until Lauren elbowed me in the ribs. Hard.
It's always her spoiling stuff. Sigh.
Grabbing our stuff, I trailed after them, trying to clear my head. What the hell was happening to me these days?
