chapter forty seven

BRUCE'S POV

It took West a while to get here, he was a person with great punctuality but I wonder what happened today? I took my order and waited for him to get here. When he got here we had started talking but I suddenly got tensed, which was never my behavior and he noticed it too.

" so tell me who's the unlucky girl?" He said, and I stopped myself from telling him. I became a coward and I hated myself for that.

" but I really love her though! " I said defending my love for his sister, but he just looked amused by my words, it was like a surprise for him, and it is for me too because I never thought that I'll ever fall in love this soon. " but I'm sure you don't want to know about it" I said and thought of a a way to change a topic, I was starting to consider what Ariana had advised earlier. But he wouldn't let the matter go.

" why do I have a feeling that you don't want me to know about your new found love, are you scared of admitting your feelings for her? "

" No!" I answered quickly, and he raised his hands up in surrender. Why am I suddenly backing out at this? I should just tell him but then again I thought of what Ari had said, making me stop myself again.

" so then why did you call me here? And you had to come all the way here for that too?" He asked me looking a bit confused, I know that he noticed my nervousness and he definitely knows that there's something wrong. So I said the only thing  I could think of at the moment

" no! I just came over so that you and I can catch up! You know?" I said giving him a huge grin but my nervousness gave me away, I know because his face turned serious

" OK! Now tell me the real reason Bruce! " He said and I know that now he was damn serious. I thought about it for a while then I decided that its better if I just tell him, I already came all the way here for that. So why back out at the last minute? This could be my only chance

I noticed that he started to eat his dinner when he spoke again, " you don't have to tell me if you don't want to" he said not even glancing at me

" no I'll tell you" I said gaining his attention, he dropped his utensils and waited for me to speak up.

" well the truth is that I'm in love with y-" I was saying before

Ring!

His phone started to buzz, he excused himself and answered it. His face expression suddenly changed, his eyes got darker but not the one of anger it was filled with worry.

" what?" He stood up abruptly, I stood up as well looking at him confused, " OK! I'm on my way." He said and with that he hung up.

" what happened? Is everything alright?" I asked him, he looked at our surrounding and I understood that we shouldn't talk about it here. He paid the bills and turned to leave, I walked beside him  quickly cause he was striding huge steps.

" dude! What happened? " i asked him once we reached the parking lot, he turned to look at me

" I'm sorry Bruce there's a problem at home I have to go there now" he said and I could tell that he was really worried

" what? What happened over there?" I asked him

" it's Arianna! She fell off the stairs " he said and I was completely shocked by this, in no time he was his ferrari.

" I'm coming with you, I can't leave you alone in a situation like this" I said and he nodded, I opened the passenger door and got in. He maneuvered the car, and soon we were on the road.

WEST'S POV

To say that I was freaking out right now was an understatement! Why in the world didn't she go to bed like i told her to, oh I forgot it's Arianna, she never listens to me. God I hope she's fine, I hope our unborn child is fine, I can't afford to lose the both of them, I'll go crazy.
