chapter twenty two

It has been two days that I've been here in the palace, I met the queen who was really nice and sweet, I really admire her so much. Even with her position as queen, she always had that tender love and care of a mother for everyone. I remembered the first time she saw me, she said that I was beautiful, but she also said that I looked really familiar, that brought me a little hope  thinking that maybe she knows my family, but that hope died when she couldn't recall.

I've also met all the servants and some of the bodyguards too, of course Monica introduced them to me and she also told me her crush on one of the bodyguards, his name was Andrew, we get along so well and at night that we all aren't really working anymore, we all sat at the pool area, of the palace and chat about random stuffs. Most of the bodyguards were reserved and always had serious faces on, but Andrew was different he always chats and crack jokes making everyone laugh, now I see why Monica likes him but it's like he doesn't seems to notice, actually even some maids like him, I could tell with the way they behave around him they were too obvious.

At the moment the king wasn't around in Nania, I haven't seen him since I arrived here, Monica said that he had some business to take care of. I also heard that a ball was to be held in a few days time which meant that everyone in the palace was busy.
The Queen said that she wants it to be perfect, since the king will be engaged that night. The Queen had made a lot of arrangements for the occasion, I could tell that she was really happy with the fact that finally her son will get married.

"Oh my God!" I gasped loudly, looking at the photograph on the wall, I began to tremble making the princess's attention to snap in my direction.

" what happened? " she asked me, once she was standing by my side, we were going downstairs when I saw what I saw. I couldn't speak so I just stared from the princess to the huge frame on the wall. Looks like she read my mind and then she smiled at me.

" oh that's my brother, King West! hot isn't he?" She said smirking at me while crossing her hands over her chest, I was still looking at her wide eyed. OK so ' no body' is the king? O.M.G I still can't believe I'm calling him that. So all along he was a king? No wonder he was that cute, no one could look that handsome if not the king himself, oh my God I've been such a fool and I can't believe I've been calling him that but he never once got angry or anything, what if he was just waiting for the right moment? I think I'm going to faint, what will I say to him when I see him again? I couldn't help but think of the time we kissed, oh God this is too much to take in.

" so if you are done checking out my brother, can we go already? " the princess said, bringing me out of my thoughts and I blushed looking away so she couldn't see it. While deep down I was terrified how am I going to face him? Will he punish me for all the time that I called him ' no body' ? uuurgh! I'm in trouble...huge trouble.

The princess and the queen were having their lunch on the dining table, it was a huge room, the walls were brick red and white,a long, wide table was at the middle of the room, many chairs were around it, lots of chandeliers were in a single row directly facing the dining table, it was beautiful.

" what? So you mean Kaila is coming over? Why am I being informed now?" The princess asked looking angry, I was standing beside her.

" she just called at the last minute, I couldn't say no and you know that she is your brother's childhood friend " the queen said, princess Fiona muttered a few curses under her breath. I have to admit that I wasn't comfortable with this kaila girl coming over. Why should it bother me? In a few days he's going to be engaged, then it won't really matter anymore.

" I also have good news" the queen said again, trying to lighten the mood," your brother is coming today, so be prepared " she finished and the princess smiled widely. I could tell that she really loved her brother, I wonder if I have any siblings?
The thought of me seeing him again made me happy and also nervous too, what will I do when I see him again? I think I'm going crazy. The princess got up from her chair and made her way out after kissing her mom good day, I was about to follow her when she told me that she wanted to be alone, with that I left her and made my way to see Monica.
