chapter twenty nine

After so many arguments, of me trying to convince him that I don't want to dance, here we are in the dance floor, I guess you can say that he won the argument. And I know that a part of the reason why he won it was that I can't say no to him, I'll have to learn it or else he'll be the death of me.
He wrapped his hands around my small waist, my hands were around his neck, we were so close together and he pulled me towards him even more if that was possible and guess what? I'm actually good at dancing, I've learned something new about myself today again. I was just glad that we weren't the only ones dancing, I can't wait till I discover something new  about myself again, it gives me hope. The thought of the princess avoiding the prince crossed my mind again, I want to ask the king but I don't know how, I bit my lower lip and looked elsewhere as I caught him staring at me.

" what's wrong?" He asked so nicely that you could never believe what others says about him being ruthless and aggressive, I guess its up to me to change that character of his.

" no its nothing, just....." I could tell him the main problem, I don't know how he'll react, and I don't think here is the right place to talk about it. God! he's waiting for me to continue, I have to think of something fast.

" hey!" He said, as I tried to lose free from his grip, which made him held me tighter, what? Its the only way I could think of even if I knew that it wouldn't work.

" you don't have to tell me if you don't want to" he said ever so nicely, like even if I did the most horrible thing in the world, he wouldn't ever get angry at me. Seriously, thanks bro for not pushing it further. And then he kissed me on the forehead, I smiled.

The party later came into an end, most of the guests wanted to party longer so they were still partying like it just got started. The royal family had to leave, since it was getting late but the king didn't stop their partying, he was happy that his people were happy. He just left them all in the hotel's management hands. Kaila left already as soon as the king and I started dancing, I didn't see Clara either, maybe she went home.
We were on our way to the palace, most of the servants were behind us including Monica, I miss her already. The king and I were in his black latest model, range rover sport, it was really beautiful and luxurious inside too, we were cuddling, his hand was around my waist, i was sitting on his lap while I put my head on his hard chest and my hand around his neck. I felt as if it wasn't my first time in a car like this. I knew the king noticed my lack of enthusiasm on the cool ride like others would be in their first time but he let it go. I love the way he's not forcing me on issues like my past, and he shouldn't cause I won't have much to say about it, I don't even know how I got to this part of the world.
The Queen and the princess left the party a while ago. I'm sure the princess is happy now as she is away from the prince, I laughed inwardly.

KING WEST'S POV

I'm the happiest man in the whole world right now, the love of my life has agreed to be my wife, I plan to spoil her in every possible way, she has no idea how much I love her. She means the world to me but I know that there's something she's not telling me and it bothered her. I think it has something to do with her past, I plan to find out what it is and everything about her as soon as we get married. Call me selfish but that's how love is, it makes you a whole different person, especially someone like me. Right now she, my mom, and my sister are the most important people in my life.. They are my family.

However I also noticed the way she reacts to fancy or affluent things, she reacts to them like its nothing out of the ordinary, like she has seen much much more. I want to know everything about her, but I know that she wouldn't really have much answers to my questions and i don't want to force her because i noticed that she doesn't feel that comfortable around me yet. Which hurts me to know that, if only she knew how she has me wrapped around her fingers like a spell. So what I plan to do is to visit her foster family so that I can find out more about her from them.
