Ashton's POV:
"ASHTON! Mom wants you to get up and have breakfast." Harry opened my door causing me to wake up.
"Ugh tell her I'm coming." I get out of bed, rub my eyes and throw a shirt on.
"Morning Lauren, morning mom." I said walking into the kitchen grabbing a plate and filling it with scrambled eggs.
"Ash how's the reading coming along." My mom asked as I sit down.
"Uh well um you know." I rubbed the back of my neck as she glared at me. "It's good." I stuffed my face with eggs to avoid any more questions about the dumb book that I actually haven't opened yet.
"Ashton." She scolded.
"Yes." I smiled looking up at her acting like nothing was wrong.
"I thought you were going to read it yesterday."
"Well I was but I got distracted." I mumbled. She set her fork down on the table, oh no.
"Distracted how?"
"Uh well first I wrote a few songs and the I got a major headache from thinking to much or overthinking I guess and then after that I just kinda crashed." I laughed at the last part to lighten the mood. She sighed and rubbed her temples.
"Finish the book."
"Yes ma'am."I said quickly, she was scary when she was mad. I got up and brought my plates to the sink.
"Oh and will you take Indie for a walk later." She smiled.
"Uh yeah of course." I said back. I knew if I said no she would yell at me.
Ella's POV:
I woke up kinda late today. Around 11 actually. I walked downstairs to see Townes in the same place he was in yesterday morning.
"Good morning." I said as I rubbed my eyes.
"Well it looks like you slept good last night." He joked.
"I did." I hummed and grabbed a bowl for cereal, again.
"What are you gonna do today?"
"Go for a run maybe," I shrugged. "I don't know why?"
"I wanted to go to the beach." Townes frowned.
"Well you can go by yourself." I joked.
"Ellaaaa." He made a puppy dog face.
"You're annoying you know that?" I laugh as I get up from my seat.
"Is that a yes?"
"Be ready in 15." I said walking up the stairs.
15 minutes have passed and we made our way down to the beach and found a good spot on the sand. Townes went into the water and I laid down on the sand.
I almost fell asleep until I felt something hit my side.
"Look you idiots you hit her." I see a tall, tan, dark headed boy come running my way as he turns his head yelling at his friends.
"I'm sorry about my friends, they didn't mean to hit you." He said.
"It's fine don't worry about it." I handed the soccer ball back to him as I stood up.
"I'm Calum by the way!" He smiled.
"Ella Kate." I said. And he looked a little confused for a second, like I looked or sounded familiar to him.
