He was broken. His mind was messed up, his body was weak. He didn't have the energy to face the cruel realities of the world. His heart never felt an ease. He was tense all the time. Just getting lost in his books brought him paradise but once he closed the book, his world seemed to darken day by day. He was indeed a broken soul.

It was just another day for Taehyung, his book being his only companion.

To most, he was just a loner. A loser, a nerd. But to a certain someone, he was more than just a broken human.

He flipped pages over and over, his eyes were glued on to his book. He slowly traced the words in the book, imagining how easy it would've been if he was just another fictional character.

But fictional characters face hardships too.

Swords and assassins entertained him a lot, he always wanted to try using one.

The raindrops tip topped one by one, blurring the window's glass.

The sudden urge to go out hit him out of nowhere. Sighing, he placed the book on his desk and set out.

The rain was his getaway from all his worries, as if the water washed away all his problems.

He stood on the pavement, facing the street. Children were playing in their rain coats as their mothers scolded them.

"You might get sick!"

"That's enough now! Come out!"

"Look if you don't come out, I'm gonna tell Daddy!"

He smiled to himself.

I wonder how it feels to have a happy family, he thought.

His mother is a famous model and his father runs a really big business. Thus, never having the time to look after their one and only son.

He was alone ever since he pushed away all his friends. He had reasons.

Everyday at college, he spots groups of friends just laughing and messing around. He missed the same sensation.

He looked around, noticing everyone had left. He wished he had someone to unload his problems on, someone he could hold in his arms.

But he was not what every girl desired. He was pretty average according to some people.

He was about to turn around and return to his home when he felt shade towering above his body. He looked up to see an umbrella.

He was startled and confused. Turning around, he couldn't find the words to describe the spectacle.

"Sir, are you crazy?! You're gonna catch a cold!"

There stood a purple haired beauty, her hair was very eye catching. Her lips were shivering due to the cold breeze hitting her.

Her brown orbs were twinkling, her ears were red. She was wearing a black shirt along with ripped jeans. Her leather jacket clung to her body very tightly. Her voice was very raspy and deep. Enough to drive a man crazy.

Good Lord, she was breathtaking. Taehyung thought.

Her lips had a faded tint of pink. He was feeling dizzy but he ignored the thought.

Taehyung was too lost in admiring her that he didn't realize how close she got. They were both now under the umbrella.

She gently placed her hand on his forehead, a little gasp leaving her mouth.

In an instant, Taehyung found himself getting dizzy and losing his vision.

The wet material made creases on his forehead, it was bugging him but he couldn't find the words to tell someone to take it off.
